Yeah I noticed that too and other leagues have had the same problem.
Someone on the Dreamteam board said it might be due to having an incomplete league, apparently they don't autofill incomplete leagues with teams to give you a full league anymore so probably can't schedule games. Another league I'm in was full and has scheduled games with a ladder.
This new AFL Fantasy site is a complete shemozzle, so many glitches and stuff ups, I've just about lost interest in it and will just focus on supercoach and the virtualsports dreamteam.
Very disappointed with AFL Fantasy so far. System is full of glitches. Just noticed that in our Big Footy Saints comp we've played 3 rounds, and I didn't even realise. No match day area, no ladder....all very clunky.

Yep agree mate...very ordinary set up.I to didn't realize we had started matches from Round 1.They should've just left Dreamteam how it was. According to the Round 1 results it says Belladonic Hayes team was invalid.Very weird system.I don't think there's much we can do now so not much point unless Saint Bostroits can email them and get it fixed up.
We have a contest at work , and its a pity we went with AFL fantasy instead of the VS one.
Saint Bostroits did a great job in a very short space of time getting it together, but nobody would have known how poor AFL Fantasy would become. If it can be rescued, great. Too late to get into the VS one I suppose. This seems symptomatic of the AFL to me. Their way or the highway. Why fall out with the VS guys, who had run an incredibly good comp for years? Bizarre. I'm sure there's more to it, but they surely could have worked something out instead of leaving everyone disenchanted.
Interested in other's views.
No complaints about Saint Bostroits from my side.
I'm sure the AFL had a perfectly good reason, like they probably got a discount of $5.37 from the new provider, who sent them a quote on the back of a used footy record.
Meanwhile I'm sure that there is plenty going on behind the scenes by the AFL threatening and blustering , while AFL Fantasy try to work out how to upgrade their systems for less money than it will take to send them bankrupt.

I don't know the reasons why the AFL changed it this year with different people running it, it's worked fine the past few years and now it's hopeless.
I joined the Virtualsports DT league at the last minute after all the problems with the AFL Fantasy site and while it's easier to use and more like the old one it's still a pain in the arse having it split between two different sites.

Could we change the settings to start in rd 4?
I seem to have scraped 3 wins by the barest margin......so would hate to lose them!,
But whatever's best to get it back on the road.

Yes, I only realised last night. Although possibly the link to the games has only just started working. What a shambles!
Has anyone from the Saints Div1 Supercoach league entered the league in the Bigfooty Supercoach Club Championship yet. There isnt a Saints league entered as of yet. Can someone please post the Bigfooty names, team names and team ID numbers in THIS thread to be entered in the competition. Info on how to find team ID numbers is in the opening post of the linked thread. This needs to be done ASAP as you arent in the comp at the moment and the competition is waiting for your info.

Well that makes me feel better Verdun... having narrowly lost to someone who didn't even know they were participating! I was already gutted that I'd have won if I'd chosen a different captain!
At my age I'm no good with anything new! Finding it very hard to navigate around Fantasy AFL, as you can tell!
To be fair I'm finding them both (AFL Fantasy and Dream Team) to be lacking.
I have both apps, yet it seems near bloody impossible on either to find out how I'm doing during a round. I had Deledio and expected Dunstan's score to be taken up as emergency, that seemed to take until Monday. And it was only about 12 hours ago I could tell if I won either Round 3 game or not!
Also I can't find out on either, what the $ change was to my players - god forbid I might want to peruse the whole player database. I can only find out such info by using the website on a computer. And both websites seem to suffer issues loading pages, or scripts running when filtering the player list.

Welcome to the 2014 SuperCoach Club Board Championships!
This competition is entering its third full season with all 18 club boards participating. Last year, the Geelong Board (BigFooty Cats SC) were premiers, defeating the Richmond Board (BigFooty Tigers SC) 12-6 in the grand final. All 18 club boards should be well into the process of preparing and submitting their Division 1 leagues to compete for the title of Club Board Champion league for 2014.
Information and rules
Leagues and teams
A SuperCoach guernsey has been created for each Club Board, in the same vein as on the SuperCoach website but using the club's current design. These guernseys will accompany team lists. Feel free to use them as avatars to promote your league.
All participating leagues must be named BigFooty [Mascot] 1, for example BigFooty Cats 1 or with an abbreviated mascot like BigFooty Roos 1. There is a chance some of these leagues will be in the top 20 and we want the BigFooty name to be loud and proud on the rankings page.
The league organiser needs to post in this thread with confirmation of their league name, and the following details of all 18 teams:
BigFooty name ~ SuperCoach team name ~ 2014 team ID (need to wait until Round 1)
For example:

Please use the ~ symbol in between your entries as it makes my job very easy.
This year, team IDs will only be able to be collected after Round 1. Please keep in touch on this matter, they are vital to the running of this competition.
Matches
In 2014 all 18 club boards will be represented by their top SuperCoach league in the Club Board Championships.
Each week, nine matches will take place with each club board up against another club board. The home and away season runs from Rounds 3 to 19 (as per SuperCoach season). Likewise, the top eight leagues will enter play finals from Rounds 20 to 23.
The draw has been allocated and will follow in the second post. Club Boards will 'play' out of their traditional home grounds. The draws for SuperCoach and Dream Team leagues are identical.
Scoring
The match scoring system is as follows:
This is a fair way to conduct scoring and means leagues with a player who doesn't maintain their team are not too disadvantaged.
- All 18 teams from both leagues in a match are sorted into seeds in order from the highest rank after the previous round to the lowest.
- Then 18 'mini matches' are played, with team going up against team.
- The club board with the most 'mini matches' won that round wins the match and records a win for their board.
Scores and ladders will be updated in this thread weekly. Feel free to use this thread for banter between club boards and discussion over results and upcoming games. Results will also be updated on club boards and so make sure your board knows that your league is competing in the championships!
Prizes
All 18 BigFooty players from the champion league will win themselves the title of BigFooty Club Board Championship League player and winners tag ().
Each home and away season match will see votes handed out to the top three individual teams from the 18 'mini matches' on a 3-2-1 basis. The winning player with the most votes at the end of the season is crowned the BigFooty SuperCoach MVP. the_messy_man won this award in 2013 with 16 votes.
Final thoughts
I'm really excited to get to run this competition for 2014! All I need is some help from the captains pre-Round 3 (but the earlier the better) and some enthusiasm from players during the season to let me know that it is all worth it!
