Last year we got 47k and smashed the Port Vs Geelong figures for any regular season game. Anything over 45k will be good, if we get a new record it will be even better and massive.

Quick question, i suppose this would be the best place to put it, what is the stance of bringing in food and drink, as i am taking my niece to tonights match i want to take in some cans of soft drink and a few small bags of chips, is that allowed or do i have to bootleg?

I have taken in some bottles of water last year with no issues, but security might get bitchy with soft drink.

Not 100% sure, but I've been asked to dump an open can of soft drink before I enter. Unopened maybe ok.

pretty sure no cans or glass at all are allowed in the ground, plastic only. There is a reason why they pour cans of pre mix drinks into plastic cups.

I've taken my own soft drink in last season as was fine with, as long as it's plastic bottles you should be fine.

should have info the Adelaide Oval website somewhere what you can and can't bring to the footy/cricket.

from the Adelaide Oval website the following items (among a number of others) are not allowed:

  • Cans, tins, metal containers, glass bottles or glass containers;
  • Hard eskies of any size or type (including foam eskies);

Look up Conditions of Entry section.

So I think you will be OK with plastic bottles and food.
