ticketek just called me!!!!!
I stupidly did 2 transactions for 2 people at a time in the ballot...anyway they took my payment for 2 tickets now for 680$ and will give me another call before 5 for the next 2

I was M1 last year (next to the cola cheersquad) and have never enjoyed a day at the footy more. It doesn't look great on the MCG seating map pic but once you get there you'll see it's pretty awesome. Remember to bring sunnies you'll be in the sun all afternoon.
I'm still waiting to see if I am successful (P2 Member)... If I get allocated 2 Standing tickets, I would be really keen to swap for 2 seats (and make up the $ off-course) My wife is quite pregnant so standing room wouldn't be the best!

Sorry, have a shot back and can't stand for that long, so nosebleeds is preferable to standing for me. I was just hoping to be closer to planet earth! Good luck in the ballot.

Not being a huge drinker and with rather flawless eyesight, I've always been happy up the top (reserved seats on lvl 2 however). But the old man will no doubt appreciate being lower down.
Good idea regarding the sunnies too - was at the kangas vs tigers game and was smack bang in the sun for the entire game
