Just checked my bank balance, $180.00 mysteriously disappeared :D. 2 successful ballots in 2 years! The $180 seats are probablythe restricted view ones but I don't even care.

How do we know we're wearing the home strip? Does this mean the Eagles have to wear their away strip?

Home strip has been confirmed. Weagles wearing lighter blue away strip.

Someone linked this wonderful documentary on the 1991 GF on the mainboard which I just finished watching and wow, talk about 40 minutes of flashbacks and insights into that wonderful day.

Great vid, but obviously fake. 4:08 - $16.50 for general admission? You'd be lucky to get a copy of the Grand Final footy record for that price!
(jokes aside, great video)

I was in Aussie and still cherish the memories. It will be a repeat next Saturday. I can feel it. Chi will take it through. Good luck.

One player who needs a big game is Hilly, can't afford for him to be off on the day as his outside run with izzy and hartung (sub) will be pivotal to opening up the wce

This geelong supporter doesn't think that highly of TD, turn over KING? lol

This geelong supporter must have been watching a different game on Friday night
How so?
Ignoring VC's own views regarding Doc's prior performances, I wholeheartedly agree with his appraisal of Doc's game on Friday night - thought he had an absolute ripper!

Edit: Nevermind, your original post has changed and now makes sense. I thought you were questioning his view of Doc having a good game.

yes haha what i thought wasn't said right, but i was just shocked that he thinks that in an overall sense that he doesn't rate his kicking. I believe he could take over birch when he comes to the end

Couldn't watch the other Prelim, on a plane back from Madrid. On a stopover at Abu Dhabi, how convincing were they? By the score, and with the massive umpire assistance they received (surprise surprise), not very?

Pretty bruise free, half the intensity of Friday, lots of turnovers by the Roos - their last two performances were chalk and cheese. Against us they were proactive and hunted the ball with intensity whilst crowding the ball carrier - tonight they just waited for North to give it to them tbh. They were not impressive apart from Josh Kennedy who worked really hard up and down the ground and hit the scoreboard. Not impressive but next week is a new game.

Kangas were in it till part way through the 3rd. But it did have a feeling of inevitatbility about it, and WC weren't bad - they just didn't play out of their skins, have the assistance of weather to help the web, or look completely infallible. They looked good though, they had an extra gear that the Roos didn't.

They turned it on in the second half but got a lot of help from the umps when the game was in the balance. Three or four goals from questionable calls or non-calls but they were the better side.

North made them look ordinary in the first quarter but couldn't maintain it.

They will not get the same umpire assistance next week and the wider ground will make it tough for them to contain us like they did in the QF.

I'm confident that if the two teams play as they did this week that we will get the win.

Should be a ripper.

Naitanui will be a real threat. Do we just concede the hit outs?

McGovern, if left to float, will single handedly stop our forward entries.

Kennedy. Jesus Christ if only Roughead played like that. If Lake plays on him we're doomed. Frawley, earn your ****ing pay packet.
