Maybe - he's dealt with it pretty well so far though

So far the hounding has only come from outside the club. I think there will be a push from within the club to move on from the whole saga and the only way to do that is to get rid of everybody that was in a position of power at the time.

Crows 17th?

Too many midfield passengers that don't perform week in week out.
They sacked the coach for a reason, a coach that to most reasonable people had done an OK job, something is not right.
When players start sacking coaches it never improves the club...Richmond, Saints...

fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion.

Although, I think most would agree that the crows have been under-performing in recent seasons. 10th and 11th is not an ok job.

I think we will surprise a few this season. We will be firmly entrenched in the 8. definitely won't be 17th. no chance of that happening.

No chance?
What if they underperform again?

I don't want to derail the thread (you're welcome to PM me to continue further) but I dare say they had the only opportunity to get rid of him - if no guilty verdict comes the support for him is too strong.

Why Blues 18th when Saints, Demons and Bulldogs are in the comp? Not to mention Bombers also in the comp too, wouldnt rule out bottom 4 finish or lower for your mob

Because Carlton is just as bad as those three teams, except much older and without the star junior prospects and looking to slide further

I'm sure Jade can speak for himself, I know you just want to put your 2cents worth in

Bulldogs honestly concerning future and I think Blues young kids show more promise than those of the Dogs

Mate, only ASADA completing wiping out Essendon would make them ANY chance of finishing below Carlton. Christ, even then with the 24 players we had left I'd still give us some chance of finishing above the Blues.

Now I want to be clear, that isn't mindless chest beating or exaggeration. We are at the very least a pretty decent side - Carlton are rubbish.

As for the Saints, Dogs and Demons - certainly wouldn't rule out the Blues finishing above them. The deciding factor for me is the very obvious and deliberate by all of those clubs to rebuild. Carlton (aside from drafting the par kids) have made no such efforts. Your list is putrid, absolutely putrid. And your coach is an egotistical has-been that refuses to admit his time in the game is done.

You are in for hurt mate.

I just love conversing with you. I really rate your ability to analyse footy mate, and your general intelligence shines through.

You'd be the only person to think the Blues young kids have shown more. Aside from Menzel, who looks good and is exciting to watch, I'm at a loss to name any that would be rated league-wide

The youth at the Dogs shits all over the youth at Carlton from a very great height.....

Menzel, Cripps, Graham, Buckley, Boekhorst, Holman, Docherty I think will become decent players

Jaksch and Giles coming off interrupted starts have high hopes too same with Whiley, think will be good replacement for few mids who recently left like McLean & Robinson

Clem Smith highly rated same with DVR

All those dogs players other than Libba and maybe Stringer unproven

Well I think every draftee and youngster on our list will be decent....

Mate, the Dogs youth is miles and miles ahead of the Blues.

I liked the part when he said Bontempelli was unproven before reeling off 3 or 4 guys that haven't played a game.

Nobody has mentioned Macrae either. Finished ahead of Griffen in last year's best and fairest (second overall). And it wasn't like Griff was out of favour then, all his shit came out after the best and fairest.

You like to converse with me but the other day, you didn't want to answer my question I posted

Interesting!

You posted a Simpsons YouTube clip, you remember?

Who will play 2nd tall for Dogs forward line out of Campbell or Cordy? Maybe reflection of lack of depth in key position areas of Dogs
That was me, not MoC.

And Campbell and Cordy are ruckmen, not forwards.

Probably neither, as they are both mainly ruckmen. We typically have only played one ruckman in the past and the one we currently have playing first ruck is fairly good.

Stringer and Crameri will be the 2nd/3rd tall with those two ruckmen/forwards and Redpath as depth.
