I lost all faith in the MRP the day Hodge got off hitting Hendo in the throat with an elbow because the ruckman ran the wrong pattern at a stoppage.

I thought that was as staggering as it could get, yet they continually are able to raise the bar.

So Selwood only gets one week for his chicken wing tackle, Judd got 4 weeks.
Howe also cleared for his sling tackle. I have no idea, neither do the MRP by the look of it.

Mark Evans has apparently just said that Schulz should have been cited.
Changed his tune from last week when he said that the difference was that Gibbs' took 2 steps before the tackle.

I'm hoping Gibbs lets his "Pal" from Port know about this development.

They are just a joke at this point.
Ball, Sewell, Burke, Christian. In what universe did the AFL think this group could make intelligent decisions about player indiscretions?

The idea that ex-players are able to pass judgement on reportable incidents is just laughable. A much better idea would be to have a panel of ex-umpires who at least have some concept of applying the rules of the game.

Just put the two side by side - not sure how they can be separated (apart from resulting injury - but that wasn't such an issue then). The resultdifference seems to come from the commentators 'dismay' and resulting witch hunt. What a surprise - death by media!!

Yeah not sure about neutrality there. Shouldn't have anybody that has played with or against those they are sitting in judgment over.

Staggering that some Richmond supporters think Vickery shouldn't have been suspended. Their delusion is blinding.
Just posted in their thread.

Can you believe there are a couple of Tigers posters who believe Jamison ran into Vickery?

How anyone can look at the footage and see that is astounding. This sort of delusion is why cults grow. See what you want to see...

And saying Jamo should watch where he is running.

Ball's previous position as AFLPA president would certainly compromise his impartiality & I don't know how Sewell could be involved in any deliberations about someone like Sam Mitchell, who has now got away with kneeing an opponent twice this year.
