Hmm tough one. Think Hodge could average slightly more but Birchall is less likely to be rested. Hodge's scores will be more consistent though.

Cheers guys. Both will average around 90-95 IMO, but I'm leaning to Hodge.

Some interesting reading below:
Hodge (bar 2012) has never averaged less than 91 since 2005.
Birchall 36 games in 2013-14, Hodge 39 games.

B.Crouch or P.Hanley?
Who will provide a better return when theyre fit?

I assume this is for a draft league. Hanley most likely, it will be an achievement for Crouch just to string 3 or 4 games together in a row. Feel for the bloke, absolute gun that cant catch a break.

You really think he'll average over 90? I think blicavs cpuld well avg more and hes dpp. Tough one

Hartlett has averaged 90+ for the last 4 seasons. 97 last year. The question you should be asking is can he average 105 this year.

Blicavs will be lucky to average 85 over a full season. 90 is a real stretch.

Major hip injuries/surgeries are tricky though. Especially for a player that relies on his burst of speed like Hanley does. I wouldn't expect him to be anywhere near his best this year when he does come back.

Watson V JPK V Prestia. .
hmm
tough one.
jpk will be top 8 mid years end. no question imo.
watson good chance, but not such a certainty.
prestia cheaper, fair chance top 8, prob not. more chance pod ownership %'s
would only say prestia if the extra cash gets you another prem.

Throwing up between buddy, bont or dahlhouse.. Someone please convince me!!

Thinking Dahl could be a solid POD won't get the attention of bonts by opposition, would spend more time in the guts now with Wallis out etc..

Buddy I am nervous about missing his usual 2-3 weeks a year, but he hasn't gone huge yet and looks fit..

Thoughts?

Same applies for Crouch's broken foot. Just look at Kreuzer, every time he comes back from his foot injury he breaks down soon after.

crouchs injury only put him out for 8 weeks, hardly very serious

He has a broken foot FFS 8 weeks is the minimum. He's also a fringe player in the Adelaide team who'll have to spend 2-3 weeks in the SANFL before he even gets a look in. :rainbow:

Only in comparison to Kruezer. I've found with broken bones myself that they still tend to cause soreness after they've "healed." The bone calcifies and upsets the muscles around it, as all of a sudden there is less room for them.

Crouch will be a fringe player coming off a serious injury that has missed half the season. If the Crows are doing really well, top 4 after the byes and all their mids firing, he will have to do his time in the SANFL until an opportunity (injury/susp) allows it. He's not just going to be gifted a starting 22 spot as soon as he's fit like he's Danger or Sloane FFS.

Crouch would likely play a game or 2 in the SANFL then straight back in IMO.. Would call him best 18 definitely not a fringe player.. A fringe player is someone between 18-22.. No danger once crouch returns and is fit he gets dropped to the magoos IMO
