Hamling definitely plays for me.
Room for Dickson and grant.
Interesting call on tall forward/rucks, would like to see ayce, Boyd and redpath all play but a bit risky going in so tall?

Have Honey twice, in the FP and sub.

C: Macrae Wallis Bontempelli
HF: Grant Crameri Hunter
F: Dahlhaus Boyd Stringer
Foll: Minson Libba Boyd
Int: Picken Hrovat Redpath Darley/Biggs

Redpath is the obvious surprise in my team but I just got a good feeling about him. Reckon he starting to really get the hang of it and is feeling more and more confident. Originally had Stevens in his spot on the bench but thought I needed to change it for team balance. Redpath could do well with Boyd next to him and can provide a few minutes of ruck relief for Minson. I like the look of that forward line and think it could be very dangerous at times, unashamed Grant fan boy so I have faith he can excel in that forward line. Bonts and Hrovat to spend time down there as well and even Murph if needed with Darley/Biggs to provide extra support down back in the running role with JJ.

My updated team after the pre-season games. Not much difference, was one of the only ones who had Redpath in :D

B: Hamling Roughead Morris
HB: Murphy Talia Wood
C: Macrae Wallis JJ
HF: Dickson Redpath Crameri (Grant)
F: Dahlhaus Boyd Stringer
Foll: Minson Bontempelli Boyd
Int: Picken Hrovat Jong SUB: Honeychurch

Dickson Redpath Stringer
Honeychurch Toyd Dahlhaus
Minson Bontempelli Jong
Int: Hamling, Picken, Goodes Sub: Daniel

EMG: JJ, Cordy, Hrovat

Hrovat plays VFL in R1.
I'd go something like that. Would like to fit Cordy in but not sure how.
Hrovat has to show he has form in VFL before getting a senior game. Apart from intra-club he's had only one quarter of a NAB game so far.
Pressure on places from Hrovat, Hunter, Daniel, Cordy, Campbell, JJ ... and later from Roberts, C Smith and the best of the other first year players (Webb, McLean etc). I like it!

EDIT: forgot Crameri - I guess we'll know in just over a week. 31 March I think. If available I'd bring him in for Honeychurch or Goodes and make that player sub.

Talia - Rough - Moz
Murph - Hamling - Wood
Macrae - Wallis - Jong
Dahl - Redpath - Crameri*
Stringer - T Boyd - Dickson
Campbell - M Boyd - Bonts

Honeychurch - Picken - Cordy
Daniel

*Grant in for Crameri if he gets ASADA'd.

Hamling Roughead Morris
Wood Talia Murphy
Macrae Wallis JJ if fit
Grant Redpath Stringer
Dickson T Boyd Cordy
Minson Bontempelli Dahlhaus
INT M Boyd Jong Picken SUB Honeychurch

EMER Hrovat Goodes Daniel
Crameri for honey pending ASADA results, with Jong moving to sub. Cordy the surprise for me but I think he can make it work. It means our forward structure can remain in place not having to need Toyd or Redoath as 2nd ruck. Moyd and Picken start on the bench and used forward mid or back as needed.

Morris Roughead Wood
Murphy Talia Hamling

Grant Wallis Macrae

Stringer Redpath Picken
Dahlhaus Boyd Dickson

Minson Bontempelli Boyd

Cordy Honeychurch Jong
Daniel

EMG: Campbell Darley Goodes
If you switch Bonti and Wallis thats a centreline the same height as traditional KPP's

I like him, but Daniel probably won't get a senior game just yet sadly

Round 1 selection shapes to be very interesting. I'd expect Daniel and Johannisen would be the unlucky two to drop from the 24 from tonight's game. Will be interesting to see who'd come out for Crameri and Hrovat if they're fit and available.

B: Morris Roughead Wood
HB: Murphy Talia M.Boyd
FOLL: Minson Wallis Bont
C: Dahlhaus Goodes Macrae
HF: Dickson Redpath Picken
F: Stringer T.Boyd Crameri
I: Hrovat/Grant Jong Hamling Honeychurch

I just can't get back into the Grant camp until he plays like he did in the 4th for a whole game. He ball watches like an under 14 sometimes. For me, he and JJ are the two to be dropped from the 24.

Out: JJ, Grant, Daniel
In: Hrovat

B: Hamling Roughead Morris
HB: Murphy Talia Moyd
C: Macrae Bonti Jong
HF: Stringer Redpath Picken
F: Honeychurch Toyd Dahlhaus
Foll: Minson Wallis Goodes

Int: Cordy Wood Dickson
Sub: Hrovat

I must admit I'm coming around to playing Cordy. His movement around the ground last night was fantastic.

Without causing a meltdown on the board, can I ask if any believes that he may replace Toyd for round 1? Tom looked pretty tired last night. I think he's still lacking fitness.

Personally I don't think there's any chance we'll play all four of Toyd, Minson, Rough and Ayce in the same side.

Also what do we think on Goodes? On last night's game he is in our best 22.

Backs: M.Boyd, Roughead, Morris.
Half Backs: Wood, Talia, Murphy
Centres: Grant, Wallis, Picken
Half Forwards: Stringer, Redpath, Jong
Forwards: Bontempelli, T.Boyd, Dalhouse
Followers: Minson, Macrae.
Interchange: Dickson, Cordy, Goodes, Honeychurch

Good luck picking the sub! Crameri won't play just yet. Apologies to those who missed out, suddenly our so called lack of depth side is bloody hard to pick!

No reason why all four can't play. Roughy's at full back so no idea what he has to do with it. Minson in the ruck, Boyd at FF and Cordy off the bench. Will be staggered if all four don't play. Boyd us still finding his feet but he has already been a positive with our structure......never out marked and brought the ball to ground for our crumbers. He must play.

Need an extra follower mate you only have 21 players listed.

FB- Morris-Roughead-Wood
HB-M.Boyd-Hamling-Murphy
C- Grant-Wallis-Macrae
HF-Dahlhaus-Redpath-Honeychurch
FF-Dickson-T.Boyd-Stringer
Foll-Minson-Bontempeilli-Jong

Int- Cordy-Goodes-Picken sub- Daniel

Not 100% sure what's happening with Crameri

I haven't read all the other teams people have posted, but I would go as follows based heavily on how we performed last night:

Assuming no Crameri

FB: Wood Roughead Morris
HB: Hamling Talia Murphy
C: Macrae Wallis Bontempelli
HF: Stringer Redpath Honeychurch
FF: Picken Boyd Dickson
R: Minson Jong Dalhaus

I/C: Goodes Boyd Cordy Sub: Grant

Probably look to sub out one of Redpath, Boyd or Cordy depending on who is having the least impact.

Close and pressing for selection: JJ, Hunter, Hrovat, Daniel, Stevens

I've probably forgotten someone.
