Seen any team calendars before?
I know things can change, but I would have though if he id defiantly gone they wouldn't do that. Of course I realise that there is a possibility that anyone could be moved on

Brisbane are going to have a bunch of delistees on their calendar next year.

Damian Barretts sliding doors bit on Melbourne.

Melbourne - there's a team we feel is keeping its cards close to its chest as trade period looms......it is this one. Predicting a massive play from left-field.

Sounds like a bit of a guess. That's the kind of strange and desperate optimism I tend to go with at this time of year - i.e. there are no decent rumours about Melbourne circulating so obviously there is some secret hush hush conference with a massive name in football that is going to get everyone amazingly excited.

Also, what exactly is 'left field' in this instance? If it means an out-there media stunt like getting a coke-dealing idiot from another code to prance around in red and blue briefly before returning to chosen sport via spending quality time in a police station interview suite, then I'm sort of hoping we might go with a more traditional approach to an actual AFL player.

I hate Barrett. Punchable face more than anything else.

But he knows something about us and he doesn't want to say it. 1st he was overly optimistic in the review thing he does with Lyon, now these sort of sliding doors comments.

Considering he likes to go early, whether he is right or wrong and he seems to be holding something back. I thinking we may have got someone big locked in and we've promised him an exclusive 1st interview.

I'm probably wrong and been sucked it by his click-baiting ways...

I really think what he is saying is, we can't get any information as to who Melbourne are targeting but they said they are going to be big players during trade period so there is obviously something that they are keeping quiet about.

As far as left field, my thoughts are that we are probably chasing someone who is in contract and that no one expects to move...who that might be I have no idea, but I like the fact there is some secrecy at the MFC as frustrating as it might be for us supporters.

Guys.. probably a noob question but... what is the constant mention of caravans relating too? Yeppp newbie over here :(
If I recall correctly, a couple of years back, weeks before the actual announcement was made we heard from someone here that Roos had just bought a caravan off someone and mentioned to them that he was going to coach the dees. We all found it funny that it was coming from so left field but it turned out to be true. Now, everything from a caravan salesman is gospel.

So glad someone else asked because I wondered too, and hadn't thought to actually ask.
