Lets hope it was real early so he beat the traffic.
Hate for him to sit in traffic like one of us !

Hope it turns out better for him than it did for BronwynHe got helicoptered out...
As I said, I didn't see the show yesterday. If the quote is accurate, he was suggesting it was a done deal yesterday. 100%. Today he is suggesting it is still a 2 horse race, with us leading that race.So he said Saints yesterday & Saints today so he's backflipped?

Dude is your av Mark Robinson?not sure carlisle would even consider picking carlton they are in for 15 years of being down the bottom of the ladder
But what if he does a 360 at the same time?Everyone does understand that in doing a backflip you actually end up facing the same way in the same spot right?
*graps popcorn whilst people do the mental image in their heads trying to work out if I'm right*
Yes Barrett said that I posted the same yesterday. Today Bartlett was the one on SEN saying Blues from the SMS. I was listening to Barrett on TR and said Saints still favourites. So you are confusing the two and Barrett has not backflippedNah, it was Barrett. Just found the post on SS that I saw yesterday. I didn't see the show so I can't confirm, but this was the post on SS
"Sunday Footy Show reports that Carlisle has chosen saints as his club of choice and that negotiations are 'well advanced', according to Damian Barrett."
As I said I didn't watch the show. Did anyone? And is this quote accurate? If it is. He has back flipped.
Apparently the Saints have employed Amy from Utopia as the BaristaAnd he was presented with a decent latte upon arrival........
There is a player that i rate very highly and hope the saints talk to his management about were he is at. Jed Anderson from the hawks hasnt been able to get a game this season, watched him in the nab cup and has it all. Pace, skills, smarts good height.
And he will probably end up at Hawrhorn!!So Saints are confident in getting Carlisle. Blues are confident in getting Carlisle.
Barrett says Carlisle to the Saints is a done deal.
Bartlett says it isn't and he's going to the Blues.
Carlisle has had a medical with us this morning but is meeting Carlton today.
No wonder I have a headache.
And he was presented with a decent latte upon arrival........
Scott Lucas talked a bit about Spencer on Trade Radio.
Said his poor VFL form, the alignment with Sandy, Riewoldt still playing, and the recruitment of Paddy/Bruce/Membrey is why it didn't work out with us. Didn't really say anything about wanting to get to another club, so maybe he doesn't want to keep playing AFL as some on here have said. Bit of a waste of talent, but best of luck to him regardless.
Classic case of someone being recruited for athleticism/potential over actual football credentials.Lucas is way off.
Bruce was originally recruited with a view to being a key defender. And by that point Spencer had already been at the club for a fair while.
From what you hear from the grapevine, Spencer just isn't up to it. That's the reality.

Just averaged 1 goal a game at TAC level from memory, which was boosted by a couple 5 goal hauls over low teams to make it look decent. Just not good enough for a tall forward prospect to warrant selection that early in the second round imo.
I'll admit I got sucked into the hype as well, but just not a footy player, that's all it comes down to.
He was saying more that Saints wouldn't have expected Bruce to become a 50 goal a year forward, which is true.Lucas is way off.

Good call. That's why I'm excited about Paddy, he's a footballer.Classic case of someone being recruited for athleticism/potential over actual football credentials.
