I reckon it'd have to be 24/25 + next year's 2nd rounder. 24/25 will give them enough points for their players this year and they'll have a 2nd rounder for the bank of players they have coming through next year.
I like your thinking... Also gives us a second for Freeman or Rice or whatever..

Justin Peckett has 5 boys? 1/4 of a team lol
Doing a bit of research; (Going off old articles which mentions what their ages were at the time of the articles)
Bailey Rice + James Coghlan available next year so 17
Jack Coghlan - i think he is about 16
Connor Harvey - would be 16
James Sziller - would be 15/16
Tyson Milne - would be around 14
Sam Loewe - would be around either 14 or 15 this year
Jackson Voss - would be around either 12 or 13 this year
Josh Hudghton - would be around 11 this year (Max apparently has another son Aaron didn't know that not sure of his age though)
Sam Peckett - would be around 18  (Haven't heard anything about him so maybe not into footy.)
Sonny Peckett - would be around 12
Jet Peckett - would be around 11
Elwood Peckett - would be around 8
Ace Peckett - would be around 5/6
Boston Everitt - would be around 7

Jack Koschitzke - would be around 1/2
Hunter Hayes - would be around 0
Ryder Blake - born June 2014
Boston Roberton (Assuming Dylan hits 100 games) - would be around 1/2 - His other son was born this year so a couple of months old

Unsure of:
Max Hudghtons son Aaron
Terry Milera son (Assuming he hits 100 games maybe unlikely)
Jayson Daniels son
Andrew Thompson son
Adam Schneiders son
David Grant son
Austin Jones son

+ What ever other ex-players who had sons and played 100+ games and i don't know who they are.
Found the old post the problem was we didnt get many 100 gamers before the 90's
I think between Peckett and Loewe we should get at least one
I feel a little like i invade their privacy talking about these kids hate for them to feel under pressure
Since then Loewe had twin boys

Media story if Hawthorn was a bottom five club right now:

There is no other way of putting it. Hawthorn has embarrassed itself this week. Where were the Hawks when Jake Carlisle's manager was out there spruiking him to other clubs? Where were they when Jake's signature was actually up for grabs? Jake Carlisle is a future all Australian full back, a hulking presence who can be thrown forward when needed, in short - a match winner. Perhaps the missing piece in the Hawks' premiership puzzle. And yet, the Hawks wait until Jake has put pen to paper and requested a trade to St Kilda before putting up their hands and asking meekly "what about us, Jake? Would you like to come to us?". If this wasn't such a serious business we'd be laughing at the Hawks' incompetence. Surely the Saints and Carlisle's management team are.

But of course the Hawks are totally awesome and can't possibly make a mistake. So move along, nothing to see.

If that trade goes through, it's genius IMHO

Clearly the boys have a plan with 23, 24 & 25. My hunch is definitely to trade 23 & 24 to GWS, but I assume it's not for what people think.

I wouldn't put it past the Bombers to take Parish & Mathieson at 4 & 5, so Bains & co may just say be thinking "Hey GWS, why don't you just take picks 23 & 24 but instead of us taking pick 8, keep it. And while we're at it, here's next years 1st rounder too, so just give us Josh Kelly & your pick 27 in return..."

Carlisle - traded in with pick 5
Kelly - traded in with Picks 23, 24 & next years 1st rounder
Freeman - traded in with pick 25
Rice - Traded in with pick 27 from GWS
Sinclair - upgraded with whatever is left

Genius ;)
what would be really genius, is if we traded 23, 24 & 25 back to pick 5 :D

It's frustrating to read the ignorance of opposition supporters on the issue.

We're getting trounced for not trumping up an acceptable offer.
5 alone is too much, for a player whose own club has only voted him in their best 10 players once.
So we try and move that 5 on for some lower picks that represent closer to Jakes value as an out of contact, 1x top 10 best and fairest finisher, but can't cause those deals aren't done (Treloar and Dixon). Further to this, Essendon have made it known they will actively undermine any deal for downgrading 5 by offering 4. And then the biggest hurdle of all - Adrian Dodoro has said he doesn't want to deal with us even if 5 was on the table.

What do people expect us to do?

Like how has no one called them out on the Richmond shit from yesterday?!

Now that Jake has said St Kilda or bust, and a "fair" deal has been rejected I hope we offer Essendon a packet of chips for the shit they have pulled. PSD 4 Jake, it's what the Bombers deserve for years of this shit.

Exactly how Ive been feeling. Crucified in the public forum for trying to play an appropriate and patient trading game.

Anyone hear the caller Finey had tonight on SEN called Dragen.
He had a great 4 way deal to solve the Carlisle deal, seemed to satisfy all the needs of StK, Ess, Haw & Coll.
We get Carlisle and Freeman, give 5.
Haw get 5, give 15 & 18.
Ess get 15 & 18, give Carlisle and 23.
Coll get 23 and give Freeman.
There may need to be a few extra late swaps to smooth a few edges but the beauty of it is all the clubs give and get what they've previously said they'd be satisfied with.

Lol at the Essendon supporters in the Jake Carlisle thread. After telling us that they had no use for 2nd round picks, that they wouldn't use them and the draft was weak after pick 20 they've started back-pedalling and said that there is talent there and want to use them after our latest trade offer.

I just think that they are pissed off we've tabled a reasonable offer but may have an ulterior motive. Any other year and they would've agreed that pick 5 is a lot better than 23+25+Carlisle, but because we could trade these picks back into the first round draft through Sydney teams they think it's unreasonable.

It isn't their business what we decide to do with our picks, just because we can get a good deal with them and make the net loss for Carlisle less, they want us to pass these savings on to them in the Carlisle trade. They're not the ones who have pick 8 to table, they can't just think of 23+25 as pick 8 every time they try to calculate Carlisle's worth.

I was in there before.. What a rabble!
