6. Hopper
5. Parish
4. Francis

2. Schache
1. Weitering
If everyone held their current picks I couldn't see Parish getting past Essendon given their need for another midfield with KPP filled

Yeh agree with him that Collins and Francis may be better but really can't see him getting to 5 given he's the best midfielder

I find it funny Essendon flogs only want Sebastian Ross because he is the cousin of Jobe. If he wasn't the cousin of Jobe i doubt they'd know who the **** he even was.

Also seriously doubt we will trade him, not only is he signed up but he is apparently very highly rated inside the club and Richo has talked him up plenty of times during interviews. Not to mention also Lenny had good things and high hopes for him as well.

IMO this year he showed signs of taking the next step and i personally think next year he will. 25 disposals, 9 tackles last week showed what he can do.

Not sure we will part with our 2nd rounder given the work that we have put into Bailey Rice and the clubs knowledge of him having trained him for a few years

I really dont care if we get Carlisle or not .
I think this years draft we should be targeting midfielders and planty of them , especially good kicking ones . Happy to wait for Rory Thompson next year .
Rory Thompson is out of contract now.... Why wait?

I legit believe Tom Curren could be a great cheap or steak/knives for a side that is in need of inside midfielders.

IMO that is his natural position let him play as a full time midfielder, release from tagging and away from being a small forward.

He won the Sandy B&F playing that role and did well playing it late 2013 after his debut.

This has echoes of Mitch Brown about it.
Dodoro has been kicked up his deserved backside re deals getting done with less fuss than previous years.
Carlisle is aware there's some healthy contracts in front of him. Keeping in mind our contract is healthy, LT, with the benefits of a club heading in the right direction. Have been in his ear for months allegedly.

Just before Essendon started their football department review, I remember hearing that Dodoro was one of the people who could be shown the door. I'm not sure whether they've completed the review or not, but wouldn't it be nice if that happened before the trade period?
And hopefully they recruit the outgoing Carlton list manager!

i love the assumption by everyone that thinks the choice between us and the blues is clear cut. its not!

blues can offer what he apparently wants (to play KPF), i doubt we can make such a claim and guarantee him minutes up forward.

i think the assumption that he's not fine playing KPD is something that will be talked about closer to the trade period

Since when has Carlisle wanted to play forward? He always sucks in that role...

It's the other way around, Jake wants to play back and hates playing forward. Both clubs can offer him a role in the backline.
