At this stage in his career (28 average games) Lycett is not an upgrade on anyone.Lycett is an upgrade on McEvoy. End of story. Hypothetical trades and list management are fairly similar.

You also think 2 + 2 = 5? Wow, thought I was the only one.My thinking also.
Big Boy and Hale/Ceglar usually share ruck duties 50/50 so it's hard for him to get Goldstein (or Lycett that night) sort of numbers who ruck 90 percent of game time. Whilst he is an average tap ruckman his work around the ground is very good. You clearly don't rate or support McEvoy which is a shame for any player busting a gut for the mighty Hawks. When was the last time BB had 20 touches and 39 hitouts?

Playing in a big g/f this weekend for Dalyston against Fish creek in the Alberton leagueThornton played in the Deer Park GF last year, was probably earning more there than he was the last year he was at Carlton...
It's not a strong suit in his game unfortunately. He has a great tank, excellent work rate and strong hands. His lack of a vertical leap means he needs to crash in and nullify the opposition ruckman at centre bounces. Has good core strength so does ok with boundary throw-ins.I'd like to see BB jump

Some of you aren't real good at maths, are you ?You also think 2 + 2 = 5? Wow, thought I was the only one.
My dad played a few games for Fish Creek about 55 yrs ago. How are they looking for GF ?Playing in a big g/f this weekend for Dalyston against Fish creek in the Alberton league
Big Boy hasn't exactly been competing against Dean Cox, Nic Natinui and Callum Sinclair (not that Callum is better). Scott Lycett has far more raw ability than BB but yeah your right, BB has more runs on the board. At this stage in his career (28 average games) Lycett is not an upgrade on anyone.

I prefer football smarts to raw ability with regard to ruck men. Lycett looks a talent no doubt but BB has the runs on the board at this stage. Lycett needs to make a career decision at the end of this season as he won't build on those 28 games too quickly playing behind Natanui and Sinclair.Big Boy hasn't exactly been competing against Dean Cox, Nic Natinui and Callum Sinclair (not that Callum is better). Gonna be up against it as Dalyston haven't lost a game this season. And yep they still wear a sort of Sydney jumper with a Roo in the V part.My dad played a few games for Fish Creek about 55 yrs ago. How are they looking for GF ?
Do they still wear sw$nes jumpers ?
Foxy said we are maxed out next year as it currently stands.
Now if Lake 300 Hale 250 and suckers 250 all move on we have enough to entice the Snake for sure.
Get it done.
Oh I'm fully expecting some trading going down - like we did with Gunston, I think we'll pull a player or two out of nowhere.
Remember that the trading of future picks can work the other way as well and the Hawks could be looking to trade out for picks to load up on next years stronger or deeper draft / free agency.89Adopter it wouldn't make any sense to Hawks threatening to walk away from Equalization if their wish of future draft picks being allowed to trade wasn't granted if they don't use it.
St Kilda. Bombers want a Top 10 pickCarlisle looks destined for the Blues at this stage.
