Brandan Parfitt is a gun. Classy and productive, gets the job done and will stand up enormously for NT. Will Brodie, Jy Simpkin are others I really like and Jonty Scharenberg just wins the ball all day and then some.

Jonty Scharenberg & Will Brodie
Berry is who I expect to go number one at this stage, IF he grows to key position height

A couple of classy midfielders to, that look very skilled & slick in traffic

Going to be interesting if we elect to trade out out picks in what is already considered a stronger draft

hard to say, I believe Kevin Sheehan said earlier in the year about how Nick Riewoldt was 184cms or so the year before he was drafted & shot to up within a year to the height he is currently
Yeah, but he was picked when you could draft a 17 year old and was probably already growing in the off season of the previous year. It's unlikely that somebody available for next year's draft is going to grow 9cm in the interim.

None of next years kids training with us this time round. Wonder if this is the clubs choice or the AFL stuffing us over.

Could be us holding our cards close to our chest, as we are known to do. Would expect that the clubs would have expressed interest in these particular players, also considering we are usually after the late bloomers, we probably don't really have an preferences at this early stage.

Alright - I'm going early and saying no to Jonty Scharenberg based solely on our dud-brother curse.
Talia last year kept the tradition alive. Zaine Cordy gets a free pass because we copped 7 years of Ayce to get him.

Petrevski-Seton is currently the standout number 1 pick, and at the very least a top five prospect. Not that it means much at this time of year, but predicting him to be around at 14 right now is insanity.

Besides, we'll have pick 18, not 14. :)

Fair points, although Grundy was a pick 3 lock for a fair chunk of his year and went in the mid/late teens.
Weird things happen - McLean should not have slipped to the mid 20s for example ;)

I get that, but he's the best performed 2016 prospect thus far and stood out when matched up against 18 year olds. Projecting him to be a pick 14 based on what's happened so far, ten months out from the draft, doesn't really make sense. He could end sliding as the year goes on but, "Will be around pick 14," is a pretty definitive statement backed up by...well, nothing.
