i'm under no illusion as to the fact Mitchell's a gun but i'm curious as to how Clarkson will handle a mid who butchers the ball.

Just like every other player, Clarkson will manage to create space & time for him to dispose of the ball - in turn lifting Titch's disposal efficiency. Not just that but I'd suspect Titch would be tasked with extraction & HANDBALL out of congestion to a waiting kicker. He has good hands & can find the ball, why try to make him another Smitch or Jewis? He's a different beast, I'm sure Clarkson will play him to his strengths.

Too many unknowns at this stage to classify ANY team as a serious contender.

GWS then daylight to 6 or so sides.

We are one of them but wow do we need to improve and stay fit.

I reckon we need 2 guys to jump a class this season. Say a draftee and someone else to do a Rampe and just work their shit out.

Going to be tough though. We rely on so few for so much.

There's the luck you need see 2005 we avoid Adelaide who we couldn't beat and instead play the Eagles who we match up so well mainly because their defence couldnt hold our forward line.

Dogs avoid Geelong who they couldn't beat this year infact got flogged both times and instead play us.

I think making a prelim at least is what we should aim for. To win the GF from there would be a great effort. Hopefully one of Florent or Hayward come in and make an impact straight away as they both have PACE which we missed this year. Edwards can be added to this group too.
We'll just need to play at our maximum against GWS or the Bulldogs in the finals to have a shot at a premiership.

Getting some genuine foot speed will help there, we were burnt on the outside this year against both sides.
