True, just seems odd to have drafted a free agent over a free hit at Macreadie. Things obviously progressed with De Boer after the FA period ended, but still. Having an older guy as depth isn't the worst thing in the would, but we do come out of the draft having left two list spots on the table.

De Boer is more about having an onfield coach for our neafl and matches up with us bringing a new dev coach to mainly work with our mids so what is happening at afl level can be spot on with what is happening with our neafl side.
