Is a good reminder how most of the "experts" can't predict a thing with the stats at hand. Reminded me of King with his inability to use stats as the icing on the cake ... rather than the entree + main + dessert !!

Exactly right 2014-15 their poor depth was never tested.

First showdown at AO in particular i remember being injury riddled…but of course no mention of that from the PAPS when they're winning.

In every thread they're seriously divided about what's wrong and what to do about it

So then OneGreatClub starts ANOTHER thread telling them to stop being so negative and to get behind the club

So then the negative ones start saying they're right to be negative they've been behind the club forever and they're sick of how crap they are

So then he tells them there's other threads for all that negative stuff

So then they tell him no you started this thread whinging about the whingers so this is the place to respond

Did he really think they'd stop??

I think they need another thread to argue about whether arguing about arguing is worth arguing about

The thing about the Isaac smith HTB I don't see anyone answering this:

He faked a handball. If he had decided to follow through with the feign and actually handball he would have disposed of the ball. But he didn't. He chose to hold onto it

If you have a choice between disposing of it and not, and you have time to execute that choice - how is that not prior opportunity????

By definition he could have gotten rid of it but decided not too - that is textbook prior opportunity

SANFL were holding out for the sweetest deal and Trigg stood side by side with them. It was he screwing us in this case, Demetriou was attempting to push us forward. And there's a reason why we got slapped with what seem over the top penalties for the Trigg/Tippett debacle. I hate Vlad as much as most, but there's a couple of interactions with him that we caused ourselves. Rendell I hate him over, but reality is that Trigg couldn't sack him quick enough to satisfy his overlord and keep his dream of AFL employment alive.

Yes, game, set, match. He had prior opportunity, the fact that he faked the handball attempt makes the decision by the umpire even more horrendous. If I am not mistaken he faked it twice before being tackled too.

The Chinese aren't silly.

They will host an event because the AFL will stump all the expense, and they will attract foreign tourists.

The only problem is that at the moment, you wouldn't go to watch Port Power if they were playing in your back yard....
