Does anyone find it suss that when things went pear ( pun intended) shaped early against the crows Wingard goes off early with hamstring

Then he trains 9 days later and plays 13 days later off a hamstring injury ??!!

2 weeks later he has a 'delayed' concussion after apparently not suffering any symptoms during the game

If he makes a habit of this questions about his temperament will need to be asked if not already

Some really weird chains of events
losers limp

Tigers will win this one. They are getting close to full strength now. Won't lose to a ports reserve side.
Port's team is a long way from a reserves side. But their lack of depth has been exposed for sure. When Butcher and Mitchell are playing you can say they are really in trouble.

Which other AFL teams would they get a game at? Brisbane? No. Carlton? No. Essendon? I dunno...but I don't think so...

But Sanders did you not see the explanation from the AFL?.......'he couldn't get the very first handball attempt away because he was holding the ball too tightly"!! Even the Chinese who know nothing about the game would be insulted by that. Shakes head.....Shakes head.....Shakes head.....Shakes head.....
Are you serious about holding the ball too tightly excuse?

No Gray, Ryder, Monfries, Schulz, Wingard, Trengove, White, Lobbe, Carlile. That 9. That's half a team on the park. And I think that's a better set of 9 than the 9 that would be playing.

Carlile, Lobbe, Ebert, Hoff, Hartlett, Trengove "Top Shelf" Please ...

TOP SHELF: Players who would be expected to get a game for any club in the competition.
Carlile…too heavy, past it
Lobbe…never had it
Ebert…shocking disposal, very overrated, loves giving away stupid frees
Hoff…turns up 3 or 4 times a year, otherwise poo
Hartlett…all the talent in the world, downhill skier, will perform if Port start winning but not before
Trengove…extremely overrated, would take Hartigan any day who can at least kick properly.

Not one of those guys is top shelf and I wouldn't select any of them in our 22 except for an in form Hartlett.

And yet our top shelf are still top shelf, and you'd add Laird and arguably Lynch into that mix.

Why would they drop Gray and Wingard?

Gray has been their best player by a country mile. And Wingard has been no worse than anyone else.
Gray cheats off the back and has been pants for 2 weeks in a row and has been visably sooking

Wingard had been non existant. He's been plenty worse than 2/3's of the team. And that's saying something.
