Pretty sure Adelaide will take Jarman as F/S in the Rookie draft as they can nominate him ahead of the draft itself. Interesting that no other club took him in the National draft so perhaps his name is overshadowing his true ability. Hawks have done well over the years with rookies...may that continue, I actually like the speculation of the rookie draft more than the expectation of the National draft.

I agree with your numbers although I cant see us taking anyone in the pre-season draft although we have the option with only 39 on the senior list (Hodge and Roughy could be listed as "veterans"). This means we will have 3 category A rookie selections and one will be used on big Fitz.

Big decision to make on Tweedie on whether to take him his as category A or we take the chance he falls to our academy pick where we can take him as a category B.

Wouldn't be unhappy if we went for some experience with one our our "live" category A picks - Jye Bolton from Claremont (Sandover Medlaist) or Chris Jansen from central Districts.

The total can be 47, with not more than 44 comprising senior and category A rookies, (any mix between 38-6 to 40-4 is ok) with leaves up to 3 Cat B rookies

You can run primary list 38-40 currently we have 39
Cat A rookies you can have 4-7, if we stay with 39 we can have 5
Cat B you can always have 3 (but only one Irish)
Maximum list size is 47
We don't have to run with 47 but most clubs will try to maximize their rookies

GW said as much pre draft that the club wanted to pick fitz up again via draft or rookie draft

What types of youngsters do you think we will target? I'm thinking that we'll go for some speed and X factor. Tough to get but possible if we draft 2-3 of them. Chances are one will make it particuarly out of a supposed deep draft.
