Where has this Well's leaving business come from?

I guess a positive in the Brown talks means they are still in strong desire for finals contention for the years to come - but does that influence scott's desire to play more youth?

Wells wants a 2-3 year deal but we are only offering one on a small wage. He has a number of offers on the table as a free agent.

From earlier posts on here, it seems that Wellsy is after a 2 year deal while the club is offering 1 year on lower coin. But that's with no insider knowledge.

With the sudden dramatic list changes, surely Daniel's status would be being reassessed too. Wonder where he sits within this 'reset'.

Would be curious to know what sort of compensation he would draw as a free agent, having been mentioned in the article.

Lucky to be end of 2nd round. He won't command top dollar.

From Wells perspective - it seems he was close with Boomer and Drew - would be a bit gut wrenching to lose a couple of your best mates - maybe the will to continue on low coin isn't such a motivator when success and your best mates aren't around

If we get Brown I could see Thompson returning to something near his best next season. Think he would excel in the 'Firrito' role.

Firrito had his arse handed to him by Patton last weekend.

I don't think Scooter would have faired any better. I prefer Scooter on the smaller types.

Ben Lennon last appeared for the Tigers in round 21

RICHMOND forward Ben Lennon is expected to seek a trade this off-season after struggling to break into the Tigers' line-up this year.

The 21-year-old signed a two-year deal last year with the Tigers tying him to the club until the end of 2017, butAFL.com.au understands he has informed Richmond he is keen to search for more opportunities elsewhere.

Lennon managed only three games at senior level this season, with his last appearance coming in the Tigers' round 21 defeat to Geelong.

That was his first game at AFL level since round four after a range of injury issues, but he was omitted from the senior team days later after coach Damien Hardwick suggested he selected him underdone.

Lennon, who was chosen by the Tigers with pick No.12 at the 2013 NAB AFL Draft, has played 19 games in three seasons at the club, including a run of eight games in a row towards the end of last year.

However, he was dropped for the club's elimination final loss to North Melbourne in 2015 before shoulder, concussion and ankle problems interrupted his campaign this year.

The marking half-forward is an excellent user of the ball, and caught the interest of Carlton last year as he weighed up a contract offer from the Tigers.

He was linked to Carlton when the Tigers were chasing Chris Yarran, but Lennon decided to sign on with Richmond.

The Tigers gave up pick No.19 for the speedy former Blue, who didn't play a senior game with the club in his first season at Punt Road.

Richmond looks set to have an active role in this year's exchange period, with outgoing Gold Coast midfielder Dion Prestia nominating the Tigers as his preferred new football home on Wednesday.

Forward/ruckman Tyrone Vickery remains out of contract and is a restricted free agent, while former top-10 pick Reece Conca is among a batch of Tigers also without a deal for next year.

Richmond's poor season has left it with pick No.6 ahead of November's national draft, although the selection is likely to come up in discussions when negotiating a deal for Prestia.

he looked promising and probably should have played in the Elimination final. Is a good ball user too i would get him if he comes cheap.

Had a heap of injury setbacks, for where our list is at I'd prefer to take a punt on Lennon over bringing Mayne to the club.

Ben Lennon has requested to leave....would love to snare him and then the pressure is on Billings !!

Now we know that Lukey will spill blood for the club, it wouldn't take much for Lennon to spill blood for Lukey, then the others will follow.

Hansen & 3rd --> Lennon & 3rd
FA cash --> N. Brown
S. Thompson & 2nd --> D. Swallow
FA cash -- Mayne

OUT: Hansen (trade), Firrito, Harvey, Petrie, Dal Santo (ret.), McKenzie, Nahas, Tippett, Ray (del.)
IN: Lennon, N. Brown, D. Swallow, Mayne, draftees

Wright -- Tarrant -- McDonald
MacMillan -- N. Brown -- Atley
Wells -- Ziebell -- Gibson
Wood -- Waite -- Higgins
Thomas -- B. Brown -- Daw

Goldstein -- D. Swallow -- Cunnington

A. Swallow -- Jacobs -- Vickers-Willis -- Dumont

Mullett -- Garner -- Hibberd -- Turner -- Wagner -- Mountford -- Clarke -- McKay -- Durdin -- Mayne -- draftees

I don't know, there's too much guessing.
