That counts you out then
I couldn't pass year 9!!!!!
But mate your trade suggestions are just laughable mate and then you get indignant when it is pointed out.
Miles is an average midfielder at best and a second round pick is not likely to land a Prestia it is like Gold Coast offering miller and a second round draft pick for Martin. The funny thing is miller is way better than miles.

Here's how I see things possibly playing out for Fremantle.

We trade Haydn Ballantyne and draft pick 39 to the West Coast Eagles. In return we get the Eagles picks 30 and 48.

We trade pick 48 for Cam McCarthy.

The second round compensation pick we will receive for Mayne I think will be ontraded to Hawthorn for Brad Hill.

Depending on the Nat Fyfe situation this could be interesting. There has been rumours that Gold Coast are interested and with them having so many picks inside the top 30 now may be the best time to do a deal. Whilst it would be with a heavy heart that he leaves I would rather it be now than possibly in 12 months. With Michael Barlow's future uncertain and the Suns need for bigger bodied midfielders we could trade them Fyfe and Barlow and in return they would give us picks 4, 8, 24.

Heard that GWS maybe interested in Michael Walters. We could trade Walters to the Giants and pick 30 and in return receive Rory Lobb and Adam Tomlinson.

Pick three could be used to get Jesse Hogan from Melbourne and maybe a second round pick for the following year.

All in all if it did happen that way Freo would have lost Ballantyne, Fyfe, Barlow and Walters and gained Cam McCarthy, Brad Hill, Rory Lobb, Adam Tomlinson and Jesse Hogan. They would also head into this draft with draft picks 4, 8, 24. Get those players into the club as well as having three draft picks inside the first 24 and I think it would be good for the future of the club.

Before people jump up and down about loosing Fyfe, Walters etc.... they have given great service to the football club and yes it would be with a heavy heart that all leave. However if it sees Fremantle playing finals sooner rather than later and give us our best chance to rise back up the ladder and compete at the pointy end once again then I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Eagles fans didn't want to loose Chris Judd but they seem to be pretty happy with who they got in return which was Josh Kennedy.

Dreaming mate.

Gws would want nothing to do with pick 48.

Mayne will not get you a 2nd round compo pick

If Fyfe wanted to go somewhere it likely wouldn't be GC

Hogan will cost more than pick 3 and a second (it sounded like you wanted a second back lol)

He was AA squad of 40 last season... what is that saying about better to be silent and let someone think you are stupid than open your mouth and remove all doubt
He was actually AA squad in 2014, so that was the season before last. Which makes the second part of this post even more hilarious.

This post has been dismantled on the freo board, some trades heavily favouring us and others reaming us
Can't see any of them happening

Just commenting on your points

Yep GWS wouldn't even use 48

Mayne is getting 4 years at 500k a year which will net us either a 2nd round compo (22) or an end of 1st round (19) if he gets 600k a year we would probs get pick 4 lol (dw even the pies aren't that crazy), remember it is all about the contract and not the player.

Imagine trading Fyfe for 2 speculative picks that could end up being the next Butcher and Ryley dunn lol (just picked 2 random top 10 flops) yeah no chance we even entertain a trade for a contracted Fyfe + you are correct in saying he is no chance at going to the GC (seriously why the fk would he? If he leaves home it will be to Victoria to soak up the spotlight)

Agreed that pick 3 for Hogan and a second rounder is laughable, Bondy and Lloyd would have to hold a gun to the Melbourne list managers head to get that one through

What author name do you use for your other works of fiction?

Anyone got a gif they could recommend for this?

You'll need pick 48 and pick 30 for McCarthy
Mayne will not get you a 2nd round compo pick
They will get a 2nd ound compo pick if the rumours are right that he will get 500K per year for 3 years.

If a was a pies fan, I'd be furious if they paid Mayne $2m over four years.

I still can't believe that figure until it's confirmed. Seems too crazy to be true.

The $500k a year is probably a little above what he is worth but its the 4 years which is the most troubling aspect of the deal. Almost as bad as Carlton giving Liam Jones a 3 year deal.

The media always, always adds about a 100k to the figure when reporting contracts. Without fail. Remember these things are absolutely a game of Chinese whispers so when it finally gets to the media who reports it (who probably round it up anyway) it has only the smallest resemblance to the original facts.

In all likely hood they hear the highest amount , or first year amount as 500k and say 500k over X amount of years when in reality it is nothing like that.

Freo fans getting their hopes up about getting a great pick for Mayne should maybe temper their expectations a little. Very likely to get the same pick as Selwood.
