I said easily $20k, which means more than $20k as I'm not offering the service I can't quote you the actual price.
It's basically the same stuff used to wrap buses and trams. Wrapping a Transit van completely, inclusive of the windows but allowing to see out of the back windows is anywhere between $3k and $4k.

Those panels are much larger. $20k wouldnt be far off the mark of the cheaper end.

That said, I doubt the cost is the Clubs issue as much as barely anyone goes there anymore and it's just on the backburner.

Majestic's template (from what we saw with their brisbane announcement) would suit us well.
Simple v-neck like we had from 1991-2000
If that is how the colours came out I wouldn't care if it said COAR under the collar.

So with the new apparel sponsor do they completely change our Guernsey? Or just add their logo. Some of the BLK stuff that was meant to be this year looked nice. Had a mean Crow watermark. Don't know how to link stuff but it was on a few sites.

You aren't offering a possible reason why it hasn't been done, you are presenting your cost issue as the reason.

You haven't for one second considered that actually the real reason it hasn't happened is because of what I've said, that admin have dropped the ball and haven't got round to doing it.

Now I know what I am, I am critical of the club when I believe they deserved to be criticised and in my opinion that is often. We are not a successful football club, we haven't bloody made a GF for 20 years FFS. Off field we've also had poor times which ultimately have affected our premiership chances.

But I'm also positive when they've done something well. You guys just have a hard time remembering them because it doesn't fit with your opinion of me.

Whereas on the otherhand I don't think I've ever read an opinion of yours that is critical of the club. I might be wrong and guilty of the same thing but I really can't remember one time.

It may seem like I'm never critical, because when the club makes a decision I don't understand, I presume there is more to it that I don't know, I don't presume incompetence. I don't presume I know everything that there is to know and usually stay quiet. It's easy to be critical, that's why teenagers do it.

Pretty much exactly what ive been saying. A low priority issue, better things to spend the money on.

And yet here you are admitting you don't understand and yet you've given an explanation as to why the change hasn't been made, can't you see the irony in that?

What we know as fact though is the we have a picture of a past player paraded at our home, when tradition states it's the Captains spot he's taking. You're the one offering up excuses about something you know nothing about, you've just admitted it.

Is there any wonder your opinion isn't taken seriously?

How do you know that they are announced at that time ! Seems strange

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app

Pure marketing, they get extended media coverage ie, as it happens with a Luncheon announcement, every 1/2 hour news update's on the radio and the hourly updates on the TV and then a big hit with the nightly news feeds,
Note Bad news is later while good news is lunch time.

Given that Craig Hutchison seems to be controlling AFL media these days, I would have thought it would be a bad idea to hold a media event during lunch time?

Now you're just trying too hard.

I never said I didn't understand this issue, I said I keep my mouth shut when I do.

I've given reasons, I think it's pretty obvious. There are more important things to worry about and we don't play at AAMI anymore. It's a low priority Item.

You have the certainty that your opinions are fact like the average man you meet at the pub, I couldn't care less how serious you take my opinion, I enjoy pointing out the things you don't understand, the obvious reasons why certain decisions have been made.

It's obvious when you want them to be obvious because you can't think for yourself. The only thing you point is out is that you are a sheep.

Agree, and the reality is the club has a limited bucket of funds.

Playing devils advocate for a minute, is this a let down on the "elite standards" we aim for as a club? This is our headquarters after all, it is hardly fitting for them to be adorned with out of date imagery. Without overstating the importance of something like signage, if things like this are overlooked does it penetrate further through the organisation?

Probably not, but with a slight nod to getting the little things right, I'd like to see it sorted sooner rather than later. I'm sure it's on the agenda somewhere.

do you think it requires intelligence to say everything is shit?
Do you think it requires intelligence to make up shit? Because thats what you've just done.

I have various opinions of what the club does, good and bad. They are my own.

You don't have one opinion that doesn't belong to the club.

Anyway, my point has been made, I'm sure everyone else is sick of reading this.

No doubt it's on the agenda, probably underneath 'update the logo' and before 'send Tippett a christmas card'. I don't think it looks bad, I doubt any players give it a seconds thought, VB is a highly regarded player by the playing group who was a true professional. By all accounts, they don't skimp on the internals at the club and keeping everything on brand nor do they at Adelaide Oval.

Yep, it's had way too much air time already, non issue.

I'm really keen to see how the colours look with Majestic. I have this feeling that the club has internally changed the club colours but just hasn't told anyone.

Just look at the heritage jumper BLK produced in 2015. A jumper that was supposed to look like an old school AFC did look like an old school AFC jumper, they had no problem producing that jumper.

I suspect if the AFC wanted a jumper that looked like the 1990's version for the regular home and away jumper that's what we would have been wearing. Is that what the AFC ordered though? I have my doubts.

You have a default opinion that everything is shit, its the only I have ever seen you have, to the point where you think everyone who doesn't think everything is shit is a sycophant. Anyone who calls you on your ill-thought-out opinions is a sycophant.

See what you don't realise, and what proves my point, is I've never said it's a great decision to leave VB up there, I've never applauded them for it, I've simply said "this is the most likely reason why it hasn't been changed, and fair enough" And to you that's sheep talk.

Most people grow out of their negative phase when they hit their early 20s, when they realise it doesn't make them appear as smart as they thought it did.

Can you name me one decision the club has made that you think is shit? Try not to say Tippett because that's a given.

And where did you pull that stat about 20 from? The club have never said that, is that an original opinion?

Pretty sure the colors on the 2015 25th Anniversary guernsey are the same as the regular BLK colors. Hank93 would know

I remember seeing a dude sit near me wearing one and thinking, 'that looks pretty sweet'. Was hopeful the 2016 jumper would be like that, then reverted to the shit colours. Just makes me think BLK can produce a good jumper, maybe they have just been producing what they were told to.

My Retail 2015 Anniversary Guernsey Navy Blue and Red match my 2014 Puma Guernsey whilst it has our 1990's Gold instead of Yellow.
I only purchased it because the colours where substantially better than our then current 2015 Retail Guernsey.

Their colours for St Kilda, WB and Richmond were all shit too. I think they just suck.

The black on the Saints new kit looked like a washed out grey.

Point is when BLK were asked to produce an old school AFC jumper they did and it looked good. Look at the early stuff the women's team have from COAR, colours are nothing like the traditional colours also, are we gonna put this down to COAR being shit also? Or were/are both suppliers just producing what's been ordered by the club.

As I said, really interested in how the Majestic jumper looks, it's not Majestic I would be blaming if the colours are still no good.
