Marley Williams i reckon will be a good cheap buy. Was on the outer under Bucks but will get full game time at North.
not sure how he managed to average 86 in 2015
he'll probably play every game at North, 70-80 average seems about right

edit: would not touch

70-80 for a $300k outlay leaves me cold
he's a spud, i was being generous with the 70-80 average, wouldn't be surprised if he plays VFL all season

the change in venue will do him the world of good, never suited Buckley and the culture Bucks wants.

the basic fact is we all need to find a few players in that $200-350k range who will play most matches and likely to grow in value. Whilst going with basically top and rookies/draft players is great in theory it is fraught with danger so carrying too many leaves you exposed.

You would be better if taking vlaustin considering he will play midfield, even then I'm still holding off on vlaustin

I was taking the piss. For the last few years they always say how Atley is going to become a mid and be SC relevant, never happens. Atley remains a terrible pick.

J.Howe anyone?
Take out his games as a forward and he averaged 100.5 in defence.
Has been training solely as a defender this pre season as far as i can tell.
He will be looked for constantly as a user out of the back half. Couple that with his marking ability (had 40 marks in the last 3 rounds alone) and he is quite the supercoach proposition. Can quite easily rack up 20-25 at a good efficiency rate, and 10-12 marks.
Also has a great tank. Could see him pushed up onto a wing at times.

Anyone considering Hartlett? 5 years 90+ priced a 82 with mid/def. Would be great cover later in season or could play d4-6.

He has tempted me, but with the back line so packed with real premiums it's hard to equate a 90-95 average versus the 100-105 averages of the likes of Doc, Simpson, Shaw, Boyd and Montagna.

Not out of the question

Played a lot across half back last year which effected his scores. If he still has that role in '17 it's a pass for me.

If I was confident he was going to play back I'd take a punt on him. Never know what Bucks is going to do.

It's not impossible but that's obviously a single season. It's far more likely that he falls in line with his four years in the 90-97 range and that the 101 year was an outlier.

Very true

At 423k I think it's a bargain

Do you really need to find these players?

Surely history shows you're better getting a rookie and/or 450k+ player?
