One prediction that I hope does not come true is that Gaff, knowing Jonas isn't playing, plays with extreme confidence & ends up taking 20 marks down back, most being intercepts. Then with us trailing by 20 points with 4 minutes to go, Westhoff of all people decides enough is enough & belts Gaff in a similar matter to Jonas last year. We rally to score the last 2 goals of the game to go down by 8 points (score 13.2 to 8.24 despite having 40 more inside 50's) & continue a pattern at home against Wet Toast (lose at home by 10 points in 2015, 8 points in 2016 & 10 this year), while our players trudge off to the chorus of deserved boos by our own supporters.

Please footy gods, DO NOT let this happen!!!

I was at Subi in 2014 when we won by a couple of goals, I think. When Hammer was paid that dodgy mark by the umpires, the locals completely lost it. That mark resulted in a goal. I actually felt for the safety of our players.

Honestly, I've been struggling to sledge Eagles because they're such a generic team. The only thing Im thinking of is:

Serious question: Is it just me or do we seem to play better at the beginning and end of the season, and struggle somewhat in the middle? Just seems to have been that way during the Hinkley era.
