I am so glad that some in here have gotten their scapegoat all ready in the wings if we lose - come on down Tom Jonas.

How do i explain this again simply so that those folk who have trouble processing information understand? We DO NOT win or lose a game because of one player.

We should be more concerned about the selections (and then placement of those players on the field), the gameplan and structures and the mindset of our players as to whether we win or lose. Yes that's right all 22 of them.

Yes we will miss TJ's experience and class down in our backlines but considering so many on here wanted him gone last year, you could just remind yourself of that and then pretend you traded him. There he wouldn't have been out there anyway.

FFS people pull your heads in and be looking at how we can and should beat the Eagles, who are very beatable. Stop blaming TJ and stop giving Ken his excuse early should the worst happen. He might want to mix it up from the players just need to work harder.

There are no excuses. We should be able to beat West Coast and if we can't then lots of questions need to be asked.

^^^ This is only missing a mic drop.

Come finals time you don't need leaders of the club and a key part to the teams success sitting on the sideline unnecessarily while we are undermanned against a side with a few tall forwards. No doubt about it, he will be the most nervous person at the ground Saturday night.

Settle down, no one is scapegoating anyone.

He messed up he got suspended it was stupid, blaming him for a loss....Nah.

What?! Why are you defending Tom JUDAS?!?! :p

Won't matter mate, we stumbled into the finals only so we could knock Melbourne out....job done for this year.
I'm quite sure your blokes won't be coming to Adelaide Oval with that attitude. Finals are a whole new ball game, and I bet Simpson will be ramming home the thought that finals are far from guaranteed in 2018, so this is a precious opportunity to do something special. No doubt Hinkley will have the same message for our boys. It's game on, and may the best team (Port) win.

You blokes can't lose this one, I'd be surprised if we're still in it at half time.
You beat the "unbeatable" Adelaide Crows in your last outing. You are definitely in this.

I'm hoping for a repeat of the 2014 Elimination Final when Richmond won their last 100 games on the trot to scrape into the finals and then faced a 5th placed Ports at Adelaide Oval but I'm not confident.

Gratuitous footy pr0n

Firstly that's a positive not knowing the umpires isn't it! We will get the rancid ones as we progress through the finals series unfortunately but this week is good.

Secondly if Trengove had concussion how do they even consider him. I thought you had to skip the following week.

It should be having to skip the following week. The biggest risk of permanent damage is another concussion before the first is fully recovered from. AFL isn't NFL with regular head contact, so I'd rather they err on the side of caution, then be reading about an ex-player down the track with Parkinsons.
