Only in our dreams are we finishing second this year....but thanks for the vote of confidence :) 6 or 7 would be fine for me.

Yes I do

1.Hawthorn
2. Greater Western Sydney (R-U)
3. Sydney (P)
4. Richmond
5. North Melbourne
6. Western Bulldogs
7. Fremantle
8. Essendon

These predictions sees both Richmond and Essendon win their first finals match in more than 10 years.
The only way to make it more laughable is if you added Port at the cost of WB, Syd or GWS.

Lol he is only 21 years old and had to take the best defender last year and will have to this year as well, considering that - he does alright.
At the same age statistically is behind Jack Watts in almost all aspects.

Watts also taking the best defender in a significantly worse side.

Yes I have all 5 of them in the 8.

If you're confident it might be worth a multi bet. I am tipping that combo would pay significant odds! Don't share the same views but who knows what the season throws up. It is as close as it has been from 3 to about 14 that i can remember.

In the odd chance we do make it, I'm gonna be the only one in about 5000 posts with Port in the top 8. Mods will be so impressed they'll give me a Nostradamus tag.
Naaah
Nothins more predictable than Port supporters will back their side, you all have. That's not a bad thing

I'm confused how Port have upgraded two rookies a week before the season start and both are expected to play round 1 along with last years draftee. Is that a serious kick in the face for the rest of the squad that have been around for a while. Three debutants in immediately usually spells a bit of trouble

Yes he was. He was moved back later.

Having a coach put your magnet at FF does not make you a FF. Even if Hogans stats are lower, I'd be shocked if they are lower in 2 of the most important attributes of a FF - getting the ball to ground for crumbers, and contested marks. Hogan was bashing packs of guys with 10 years in the gym in his first year. He is a born physical contender, which could not be said for Watts.

This isn't a knock on Watts, but using his stats in this way is up there with Channel 7 level data mining.

Many of their senior players were not performing. You can't continue to play players who aren't performing and expect improvement. This could either get a higher standard set OR their season implodes.
Hinkley should have done this early last year when their season was going downhill but perhaps the depth available wasn't as good as this year.

I actually thought they gave a lot of their time to their youth last season, which is the reason they struggled, maybe they werent impressed with that youth and needed to find more, but it is certainly rolling the dice by bring in 3 debutants and 2 being rookie upgrades, I do like that SPP though

When do they normally put it up?
Il probably do the same.

Unless there is another website that we don't know about..
Normally after a few rounds have been played in the season

Two rookies:

Houston - Filling in for injured Pittard. Has deserved a call up for far too long.
Eddy - Filling the spot of retired Schulz. Kicked a bag against Hawthorn, league leading goalkicker in SANFL.

Last years draftee:

Sam Powell Pepper - Absolute gun, early contender for rising star. May as well criticize Sydney for playing Heeney.

Port used 37 players last year. Some completely or very inexperienced players improved immensely as a result of injuries to key players. See: Darcy Byrne Jones, Dougal Howard, Clurey. I agree there should have been more of that though.
