He's definitely a character. The dead eyed walk away after destroying Mav Weller's don't argue and the dropping of Rance like a hot scone make him look dangerous.

But then he goes on the footy show and basically says he's useless with the missus after a game so she's gotta do all the work.

What a lad!

Then there was the scuffle against the Dogs this year when Stringer went in throwing his weight around... which quickly turned into furious back-pedalling and a look of pure fear when he realised it was Viney whose jumper he had.

Loving the Demonland annual "We are chasing a big fish that nobody has mentioned yet..." posts that have appeared in the past week. One guy has even cashed in his chips by claiming the big fish was Balic as he 'was highly rated in his draft year'. LOL.

I love this on DL. You get all the new ITK accounts hinting at a mysterious deal and everyone loses their mind. Pretty sure GNF posts under a new alias after Trav 20 eviscerated him about the Hogan stuff mid year.

Anyone up for looking at Fev on a Rookie contract?

Stick him 1 out in the square munching pies while Hogan roams the half forward line. Would probably kick 50 for the year!

He should have offered pick 10 as an opening offer, and thrown in 27 later next week. Sounds like they are going to be entirely pig headed about this.

It's crazy. Even pick 10 is enough. Nobody else is going to pay the price that he's asked for and that you guys have agreed to. If they don't take it, let him nominate for the ND and use your pick on him - you'll be no worse off. No other club is going to risk spending 800K a year on a player that doesn't want to be there.

He is out of contract and not worth 2 first rounders even if he was.

We should hold Adelaide to 10+27 it's more than fair and the closer it gets to the end of trade period the more they will sweat. They will absolutely not let Lever go to the preseason draft, if they do they get nothing we keep our picks and most likely get Lever anyway.

We offered them 10+next years 2nd round and they walked out of the meeting. Very mature club.

Hi - I can't see how pick 10 is enough. He was pick 14 in the draft. All that development and experience moves up 4 places in the draft?

He's worth whatever Melbourne are willing to pay and Adelaide willing to take. Problem for Adelaide is Melbourne loses nothing if he goes to the draft.

I think is 2 first rounders is an unreasonable asking price. If the Crows keep sticking to it, then the offer should simply be pick 10. If the Crows decide to indicate that they'll negotiate, then the Dees should add the highest available second rounder that they have (currently 27, possible higher if Watts gets traded).

See my post about a week ago. Mediation will fail, it’s what happens after that that will be interesting. MFC just needs to hold and the AFL will be whispering in AFC’s ear. Players Ass is ready to run riot if this breaks down, and AFL feeling pressure.

Scott Thompsons was picked up at pick 16 and after 4 years development was trade for pick 12 also 4 spots. Melbourne are offering picks 10 and 27 that's more than fair by comparison. The point is melbourne could offer just pick 10 as he could just go to the draft and Adelaide get nothing, instead they are offering picks 10 and 27 which is generous considering Adelaide aren't in the position to be playing hard ball.

I think a first and a second is the fair price. But I would think pick 10 on it's own is quite light.
