Freo having two picks in the 5 is probably good news for us as they may be tempted to reach on a tall who's in that 5-15 range with pick 5. Could very easily see them picking up Brander/Fogarty or Hayes at 5.

I really want Jack Higgins but probably very little chance.
I'm hoping his size counts against him.

I'd be interested in a breakdown of players who played for either Vic Metro or Vic Country, that have said they're homesick and have asked for trades back to Victoria

It seems that the Country players are more likely to stay with their interstate clubs, but I could just be making that up

Dandenong isn't actually Vic Country though. Its only called that so they can have a 6/6 TAC Cup

The hype on Ryan was exciting a few weeks ago. I must admit my exposure is limited to a few highlights, but all iI was told by some that watch the WAFL was how good he was/is. Now we actually have picks it is a different case it seems. I did see him play a full game in the WAFL GF and based on that he doesn't look like the saviour. Poor under pressure and tends to only run one way it appeared. But it was only one game. He seems to excel at the pack mark, but is that realistic in the AFL?
Has he fallen out of contention?

Against our EP AFL defenders Liam Ryan has made a mess of them more then once and has been the match winner on a few occasions .

If we don't take him at Pick 37 Fremantle will at 42 .
