Acres lol. Acres hasn't even reached 2015 sheed level yet. People here have short memories and sheed is slowly getting back to his best after an injury interrupted preseason.

He surpassed sheed last year. His rising star nom game is better than anything sheed has dished up. This year he is breaking open games. Has sheed covered easily.

Lol one. Sheed has him covered in consistency. Bloke finished 3rd in the rising star in his third year, behind freaks like Hogan and Cripps. Who were both boys in a man's body. Sheeds doing extremely well concisering he doesn't get too much time on ball (which is his primary position) because Priddis, redden and Mitchell.

You would be in the minority In Selecting acres over sheed.

I think sheed is perfect fit for us and will slot in well when Priddis and Mitchell leave. Acres on the other hand is an outside type player and we already have enough in that category.

Acres will end up being a inside player, as he was as a junior.
He is developing very nicely, has great pace and endurance and doesnt take as long as
Dom does to get ball from hand to foot.

Comparing ACRES 2017 season to SHEED 2015 season, looks like ACRES has already reached and gone pass SHEED 2015 season. You can keep your SHEED and will we keep ACRES

lets wait till more than half the season is done. That sample size of 7 games is very small. You gotta remember a 21 year old sheed played a key role in an eagles midfield that made the GF.

His concussion issues make this risky but, as usual, I'd take him for the right price.

Yea its a hard one for WCE would instantly make us better, but one more bad concussion and his career over.
A long term 4 or 5 year offer would probably get him to ask for a trade, but its a risk.
He is a elite talent though sometimes you need to take a risk.
Its a interesting one.

do you think we would be ballys? our trades for wellers, jetta and redden have all back fired at times.

Heard WCE are targeting Angus Brayshaw as he is not getting regular football at Melbourne,
and with his connections to WA, believe he maybe gettable as a trade.

**** yes. Probably won't happen but something to get my hopes up about nontheless. Surely it would take a very big deal to even tempt him though.

Personally prefer Acres to Sheed too but I have faith Sheed will become a solid player.

Well that'll cost our first at least.

Yea definately our first but probably not much else if he asks for a trade.
Its the concussion stuff that is the big risk though.
We offer a 4 of 5 year contract that maybe enough to entice him.

How good is he actually going to be? Roos still rates him extremely highly but I dont see it

I think he will be elite, has elite speed and endurance and can kick on both sides of the body.
He loves the contested footy, and can play that half forward/ inside mid role well.

Do you reckon thats worth it if we give up the opportunity to draft a KPF with our first?
