Who gives a stuff what they are like off the field as long as they can play. We know Stringer can play and I trust the club to get the best out of him. Anyway we can continue with our current list and go nowhere fast or slow.

Just want the club to get the best players available whilst we can with the draft picks and SC space. Not caring to much about being the goody two shoes club or getting the greatest deal ever. Also been in hospital for a few days with pneumonia so I'm bored and pissed off.

i agree on paper Stringer is exactly what we want and need but what lays beyond what stringer brings as a footballer is concering. again rumours are just rumours and 99% of us have no idea what the ins and outs of the issues are but what we do know is the issue is bad enough that the Dogs are open to moving him on because of it so to the Bulldogs the "Who gives a stuff what they are like off the field as long as they can play" isnt in play.. he has the skills as a player so the off field must be a concern for the dogs - hence the "buyer beware" everyone should be feeling

Well you can read it anyway you like but I take it as a given the club do all the right checks so when I say who gives a stuff that means after all the checks and balances are done.

Has anyone actually put together a picture on who the ITK's are on this board, if they are 1st hand, 2nd hand info whisperers etc.. and track records?..

Who really cares .....
If their info is good then thats great ..if their info is crap they will get verbally mauled.
It all adds to the entertainment factor and keeps us all interested ..I for one love all the ITK stuff ..whether its true or even not so true ..or somewhere in between.

I spoke to a great man privately last week about Whitfield potentially re-signing and I said at the time If it happens then I'm 95% certain that Kelly is gone.

Where in the collective bargaining agreement does it prohibit clubs asking a player to do that?.

If you think this current young list is in a position where we need to take that kind of risk well your entitled to your opinion.

My position is we don't have any need to take the risk so on balance why bother?.

So if he signs a stat dec & is subsequently found to have lied, what joy does that bring us? None. We dont get our draft picks back & the contract still goes in the TPP...

Well myself obviously and i daresay a few others, but for someone like myself that, apart from the early years, only really visits here at the end of the season, i'd like to have a better picture of who thinks someones ITK rumours are better or worse than others.. keeps things interesting and i too love the ITK stuff.. so apparently you care too about the ITK's..

What are the chances of you guys parting with pick 8 (plus change) for 17 and 18?

You could do something similar with Richmond given they have two late first rounders.

Plugger is right though.. just because someone has their own demons or recreational habits, doesn't automatically make them a bad person or influence.. attitude, work habit and character do.. you cant have both, no matter how talented they are.. but i'd take Stringer if he met those certain prerequisites.
