You are the jerk, Andrew Hamilton. Jiri is a keen fan and widely respected contributor to multiple Suns social media platforms. Plenty of fans here have outed you on this account, so see yourself out.

I'm wondering if Jirik and 17er one and the same! Always seem to be in lockstep.

Perhaps you are spending too much looking for excuses why people are unhappy with the Suns performance.
Watching yesterday and then listening to what the TV commentators had to say it was just embarrassing.
Even the good and experienced Suns players were butchering their chances. A year of going backward!

I give you a clue. Just compare our English. How about you go back to your home - you can melt there with other Freo fans.
Well, naturally you would do your best to disguise it, eh? I thought it was interesting that you both told me I was 'becoming tiresome' at different times on different threads.

But you're right though, I've worn out my welcome. Each time I post I swear it'll be my last. Cheers.

So what do people think happen with Steven May?

Does the club ask for a decision on contract extension before trade period?
Does the club offer him extra money for 2019 if he signs a contract extension?
If he chooses not to extend before the start of 2019 season does the club appoint a new captain for the season?
If May says he wants to "explore his options" is it worth the club trading him now or keeping him for 2019?
If May says he wants to leave this year what would it take to part with him in a trade (e.g. 2 x 1st rd picks)?
Is it worth keeping May in 2019 if he does not sign on before the trade period, as opposed to trading him now, knowing that FA compo is likely to be a top 5 pick?

Yes
Yes
Yes
Keep
2 1st rounders including a future 1st.
Yes priority pick would be superior.

1) keep him , nothing wrong to explore as a free agent .
2) not sure , can't give you opinion .
3) Yes , the team need short term result too and I can't see how Thompson and Risca playing better in 2019 than 2018 .

If May does not sign extension this off season he will not be the captain in 2019.

We need as many mature players as possible. So no trade for me this off season. He will still have value next year if he decides to leave.

Top 10 pick? Two late 1st round picks?

Offer him a nice contract and if he says no then show him the door and trade

If signing him up early is a priority for the Suns, the contract offered has to be better than he could reasonably hope to receive in FA - as a result the only reason he says no to an extension is that he wants to go for success - this then simplifies the process and decision for the club as to what to do next.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying-give him “Captain” money on top of what he’s worth on the open market

Whether he signed extension or not I don't think May is the right captain , he just get too easily frustrated with his teammates .

Yeah I think It’s clever naming there by Hammo he has called himself Newcastle Falcon to hide his true identity but we all know that he is in reality the Brisbane Bullet!!!

Nice try Hammo but we are onto you. Now go write more lies and hateful innuendo for your scum employer at the Courier Hate Mail.

Two questions?
1-would you offer him that if you were Evans?
2-how was your evening?

A: 1 - That would depend on if he is a good person and good leader and is actually a suns 'person' these would be the most important things as a priority
If he is a person that is a good leader and loves the suns and wants to be there even after he finishes playing then without a doubt i would, You need to pay somebody and why not your captain and a person that instils team first attributes $1 mil these days is the new $750k and a loyal servant thats your captain needs that recognition of being your best payed

2: The restaurant was great , Food was very good but service was slow probably because too many Richmond supporters ;)
Went to the casino afterwards and had a little flutter ended up winning nearly 3k so thats always nice and Mrs Gun has already spent it :(
will be back next year if we play up there and heading to Noosa in the morning for 5 days (hopefully the melbourne weather improves by the time we head back)

Will have to catch up for a drink next time im there

I think you can lock 3 vic team$ to play Metricon for the next few year$ pie$ tiger$ cat$ because it bump$ the club$ coffer$
I feel like we can add Essendon to that. Always bring a good crowd with them. (Good size, not necessarily good people)
Side note: most Richmond supporters other than those that have already forgotten their struggles they've had, have been really good and friendly re suns. Bumped into a few of them at a pub in Adelaide yesterday watching the game... good lads
