The industry is discussing it more now than ever. It might feel pointless but there's no doubt at all that the AFL are hearing it.
1 year after the MCG deal was extended half a century. How convenient. Lets sound impartial when we know nothing can possibly change.
50years of groundswell and theres a chance.

However I think the GF at the MCG is what it is and no use debating it.

One suggestion I heard was that interstate teams get the Friday night prelim so the extra break helps give some benefit (all be it small).

I also think there needs to be a minimum 3 games per year at the MCG for interstate teams.
Or maybe 4 for prev year top 8 and 2 for bottom 10 teams.

All these stop gap measures are meaningless. There’s a major integrity issue here and there’s only one way to fix it, anything else is superfluous w**k.

I also have mentioned that no team plays more than 12 games at any ground ie Adelaide at AO or Collingwood at the MCG etc

Chris Fagan on 360 suggesting we need to look at a fairer GF solution, wonder what he thought when he was at hawthorn?
He's not the only Victorian getting on this bangwagon now. Brayshaw, Barrett, Robbo, Whateley are amongst a few over there who are saying a fairer solution needs to be worked out. It may still take a while, but this definitely helps.

Maybe we need to hope Collingwood win today :(

Funny how hosting Prelims are earned and are considered the best finals yet hosting the GF can’t be allowed due to forward planning for shit entertainment that no one really cares about.
Hosting rights can clean up a lot of GF problems, that of the MCC leeches, AFL Clubs’ corporate packages that are nothing more than scalping and give it back to the participating club members in a clean stadium.

You are self-sabotaging.

Everything is subject to change. Everything is in perpetual motion. You are always in the game.

We will get this GF situation changed. Be it a best of three, a home GF for the higher ranked club, or a breakaway league.

The key is to act. Do not throw your hands up in the air. Harden up.

Is Sharni Layton starting to become the biggest non footy media flog right now.

She was dead set embarrassing on the Bounce last night and looking totally foolish on the longest kick right now.

Time to put your netball bib away and have a cup of tea.

Having met her a few times she comes across better on TV than she does in real life.

That probably tells you enough
