Umpiring in the finals is largely irrelevant because they let more go. I don’t give a shit who’s got the whistle if we play near our best umpiring won’t matter. Sooking about umpiring before the fact make its look like your looking for a scapegoat in case it doesn’t go well

Nicely said. Sooking about umpires is always a cheap scapegoat, easier than blaming our own players I guess.

As I said above, the main thing is we don't have to deal with a grandstanding umpire trying to be one of the boyz all night.

Sorry to intrude, just got mail that Ellis has been dropped. I personally thought he had been doing pretty well.

Cheers, he was in the bottom 2-3 players Kmac, Higgins, Conca and Ellis. Kmac has been very good, Higgins is incredibly underrated by our own supporters with the grunt work he does and the coaches love Conca's inside work. Was always likely to be Ellis unfortunately for him - we cant play Ellis, Houli and Short in the same side

I think it also affects the roles of Vlaustin and Broad, can’t fit all 5 in the same side.
