Dan Hanneberry...he's been cleared by the medical staff etc...
I had an old Valiant AP5 that had some serious engine problems - was delighted when it got stolen.Love the analogy. Couple of decades ago I would leave my Holden Camira in train station car parks and no self-respecting thief would touch it.
well said ...Getting a bit sick of this character assassination of Geary.
He is ordinary as a footballer, but he had to take over the captaincy after and all time great.
It also insults the playing group who wanted him captain.
Geary is loved around the club and you wouldn't find a loyaler Saints person.
Football is not played in a bubble, and off gield matters. Maybe Geary's attitude and focus impressed Sheil. It has the playing group.
Instead of bagging the shit out of the guy, perhaps cut him some slack.
He was given the captaincy and put his hand up.
The guy has got everything he could possibly get out of himself. Maybe some of his more skilled teammates could try that a bit more.

Sorry missing something?
Mac for pick 4. What does that even mean?
I know I've gone all Aspy, but Weller is on our list.
Did they mean the other Weller?

If Shiel says Carlton then Carl gain an edge in negotiations. If Shiel says work the best deal for GWS as a token of my respect for the club proviso I get the money I want....then GWS has the power and can play Carl Saints and Haw off each other auction style. The whole Shiel trade is interesting, reckon he will select Hawthorn but Connors is on record as saying that when a player is contracted that his advice is that to select a club you have to know that the clubs can get the deal done.
Carlton wont move pick one and not sure GWS will want a future pick. Hawthorn don’t seem to have the currency. I would think that we have the best financial offer and have the capabilities to offer the best trade to GWS.
I like this post, but struggle to see how we win another 9 games more than this yearI'll put my house on it that we will make finals next year with Shiel and a fit Hanners on our list, that's before I even factor in that other Kent. Guarantee it.
We have to win one or 2 more games than 2016/17 with a much easier draw than 2017.I like this post, but struggle to see how we win another 9 games more than this year
Yep, If we don't land a Shiel type player, we'll be fighting gold Coast for the spoon next year I reckon.I like this post, but struggle to see how we win another 9 games more than this year
They laughed at himYea I dunno if old mate the caller was factoring in FA compo &/or Neal/Hogan/May trades. But essentially Mav Weller to Gold Coast for a top 5 pick.

me Pluggs. it's spelt "me"They laughed at him
It should be easier, yes, but I just hope we dont get 2 games v Brisbane, & 2 v Bulldogs as our games against fellow 2018 bottom 6 sidesWe have to win one or 2 more games than 2016/17 with a much easier draw than 2017.
Excellent news, any reason why he shaved off all of his body hair though?Dan Hanneberry...he's been cleared by the medical staff etc...

For once your right Doc , never thought id say that Its getting to the stage where we are trying to black mail him with more cash , just has a bad feel about it now , based on rumours ect as the fine Doc saidRe this GWS fella.
I get the whole “we need to throw more money at him because we’re a nothing club” argument. I really do.
And it seems that’s what we’ve done.
And it seems we still can’t convince him.
While he may well be a gun, and while we may desperately need someone like him, for me that’s where it ends.
If he won’t come to us for way more than others have offered, then I don’t want him coming to us for way more than our already way more offer.
Forget him and let him take the easy option at Hawthorn, or better still, wallow away at Carlton.
NB: The above is based on various rumours and mumblings regarding our offers, their offers, Shiel’s thoughts and intentions being in any way remotely accurate.
Haha, when I left Australia, I dumped my duel fuel 1974 Kingswood Stationwagon with benxh-style front seats outside the Salvos with my old mattress in the back. Always wondered what happened to it. So many beautiful memories with that car but a lot of frustration too, a lot of failure and breakdowns, a lot of time spent getting fixed. Hope it's not still there it was over a decade ago.Love the analogy. Couple of decades ago I would leave my Holden Camira in train station car parks and no self-respecting thief would touch it.
Good news. Stuv & Gears caught up with Shiel for a kick to kick in Cho's backyard. Bad news - Cho's neighbour was getting peppered with stray balls while hanging up his washing and called the cops.
