So, as of right now, is this about right?

SENIORS

FB: Geary - Brown - Roberton*
HB: Webster - Carlisle - McKenzie
RK: Longer - Ross - Steele
CR: Hannebery - Steven - Shiel
HF: Billings - McCartin - Gresham
FF: Long - Bruce - Membrey
IC: Acres Sinclair Savage Kent

RESERVES

FB: Rice - Austin - Clavarino
HB: Coffield - Joyce (r) - White
RK: Pierce - Dunstan - Armitage
CR: Clark - Phillips - Amon
HF: Paton - Battle - Lonie
FF: Weller - Marshall - Newnes
IC: Langlands
Prefer Austin to Brown
White to Savage
Lonie to Kent
Marshall to Bruce
And Coffield and Clark have to play whenever possible for mine.

You get the feeling we're not the first option (fair enough too), but are an adeqaute back up for GWS & Shiel as we can offer the most straightforward deal to GWS, and Shiel will be financially rewarded for it.

We probably might be just getting used as leverage to get Carlton to trump up pick #1.

Hunter Clark comfortably best 22 by round 1. The kid is a star.

George nailed it in his post above. Lethers sounded pretty angry. Stuv definitely off the table.

Lethlean was a bit bristly this morning. Sounded like he spent the weekend in Gubby Allen’s den.

His manager said yesterday that he'd be going to a big Vic club. Now I know we aren't one of those but things with Shiel have changed recently. So I'd say it's between us and Hawthorn. He would be silly to move to Hawks IMO. Less money and premierships aren't guaranteed.

I think both Carlton and hawthorn are ahead of us. That’s a gut feeling I can’t shake.

But I am more confident then ever we have the currency that neither have. So he’s may push him here.

Andrew Russel switch may have changed the landscape a bit too? Perhaps part of the Hawks' pitch was his work that he can do for Dylan's shoulders, as he's done with O'Meara's knee, Rioli's hamstrings, Burgoyne's hamstrings etc.

Talk about making a mug of yourself on an anonymous forum. I've just been told to ignore all previous advice about Shiel. Haha.

Despite saying i was 100% sure he wasnt coming, I now have no idea whats happening (evidence suggests i had no idea at the start). Apologies, think I'll stick to speculating in future, rather than passing on 4th hand info!
