I think this is being overblown. If you think a player is good enough to be in the club's plans, you'd find a way to keep him. You certainly wouldn't officially delist before trade period has even started.

Emotions kick in people get overexcited or lose their cool. Your description is a perfect world but just like in investment people are imperfect and make illogical decisions.

And criticizing the club, honestly, I think it's a little unfair. We're all a bit pissed off and emotional at the moment, I get that.

I'm immensely deflated and take the opposition cheap shots as personally as you do.

My impression is we did absolutely everything we could and sometimes in life that is just not enough. You will fall short.

This club will not lay down for anyone or anything. We go back to work tomorrow.

I think that the Gaffster is really the one who looks stupid. He has dithered around in making his decision, has apparently reneged on what he said to us, stuffed his family around and generally made a botch of it. All in public view of the football world.

Any club making a big offer for a free agent sticks its neck out. I don't think that makes any club look stupid; rather it shows courage.

Better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all.

Well it's not, cause he was right. Scrotes have been comparing notes and we have different contacts but the mail was the same.

He backflipped, like Dusty. Those stories will be told in detail. Choose to believe what you want, we are trying to keep people in the loop because it's not something the club can just comment on.

Thankfully Gaff had slightly more integrity to come tell us in person, out of respect for Cam.

I didn’t say he was wrong? I said the same thing happened to him again, a guy that we had virtually signed backed out of a deal. That’s what makes it hilarious, he’s been screwed over twice the exact same way.
