Yeah I am still struggling with the concept of 'I can't get a game behind Goldy so I want to go play under Gawn instead'. Only thing I can think of is Gawn's body is banged up and wants to play less ruck time next year. Otherwise Preuss has just moved from North Melbourne VFL to Casey VFL

We'll need to delist Morgan or pull off a surprise value trade out of one of our squad as we have five picks with points value and will need available list spots to use all of them.

In fact, for anybody worried about us throwing out 61 to use that pick for points we'd probably have to delist even more players.

Need? No. He will be handy depending on the role and how it impacts others. TBH, i don't mind him playing if we give less games to players like Clarke, Hrovat, etc.

My only concern is haemorrhaging points, I hope Thomas and Scott do not attract early bids. If we pass on Scott due to the way we traded the last couple of years then Joyce should be given the arse.

I felt we had a lot more opportunity last year to bring in some extra picks for this year, we pretty much spend the entire period with our thumb up our arse.

Actually we do. We have Cunnington and Anderson, and perhaps Dumont at a pinch. That's not enough as shown by our poor clearances record this year.

That’s been my concern. We are far too skinny on points, not even counting the hall trade.

TPP space isn't really a burning issue.

Cap room is always a burning issue whether you have it or not.

Those issues are more structural in nature and not having enough of a defensive spread in clearances due to a lack of inside leg speed. How many times have Collingwood burnt us in that area via Trealor and co, their bursts kill us. Fix the structure and get speed in there. Tyson isn’t going to fix that.

With the exception of Anderson and maybe Higgins (who is sometimes slow to get into his defensive running, let’s be honest), we lack in that area. Hall fixes a few issues and we really need Kelly to round our midfield now.

Such a short memory. After the sydney final a few years back jacobs was "deadwood" along with players like Tarrant. The infamous gif of him falling on his backside was replayed over and over again iin the pre-season. Zondor was routinely calling Joyce and Scott and ironstein for recruiting him. Here we are...
