Goldy is our highest paid player and by quite a bit, estimates that he's on 900+.

He was in a list of the top 10 highest paid players about 12 months ago.

Name the clubs then - you're a poster on an internet forum, not like you need to be guarded or anything.

70% of those players have been forward-ended massively. We have a couple million to throw around.

Just a random thought. Hypothetically we get Gaff, Polec and Hall. Have we done better than *'s acquisition of Smith, Stringer and Saad last year?
i think so.
gaff is an a grader polec a b grader (just)
lunchmeat is probably on a par with polec.
maybe we could argue stringer is a b grader (i think not)
in order for mine
gaff polec/lunchmeat stringer saad hall
totally all opinion.

Stringer to Essendon was hardly the Pentagon Papers. Nobody wanted Stringer, especially not his original club who considered him toxic. There was only one place where he could go and feel at home.

We are not one of our those clubs yet.

I can tell you some facts then - one of the guys I go to the football with has been speaking to a close family member of Gaffs. This was around the bye weekends. At that time Gaff had indicated that if he was to return to Victoria he did NOT want to go to any of the big clubs as he wanted to get out of the football bubble which was impossible being in a two team town as he was recognised everywhere he went. At that time my mate was led to believe North was a front runner and nothing has changed since that time. I think you can dream on that it will be anyone other then North v West Coast - the press appear to have got this one pretty right. So flog off to the * board thanks champ.

Don’t want to be a dick and I am trying to show no disrespect but Gaff is not going to you guys.

Spoke to someone who has the inside word at Essendon and they are targeting other players. End of.
We are targeting other players as well, but Essendon has not spoken to Gaff. He will not be at your club next year. I also don’t believe he will be a Essendon next year. I will be back on to tell you told you so when he nominates someone else.

Adrian, with all due respect mate, you're on company time. Get back to work.

Stop with the cloak and dagger.

Where will he nominate then?

Has the club off all its debts?

If not, then whose money is being flashed around?
You don’t get to choose not to pay the salary floor, and TPP is essentially covered by the AFL base distribution. It’s not like the peninsula ladies have to make up the difference out of sausage sizzles.

That is semi correct
So first you were telling us we're not getting Gaff, then you say it's categorically out of three clubs, then you say Essendon not being one of them is semi-correct. So is it 2 1/2 clubs or 3 1/2 clubs?
Then you said Essendon hasn't put a contract to him... yet!
Probably need to get your story straight. Does your teacher know you're on bigfooty during class time?

To be fair, he joined in Oct 17, has 11 quality posts and has left an 'a' off the end of his username so he sounds legit..
