There is something I find unconvincing about Hall. Maybe it's the fact we've been linked to him a few times and he's supposedly knocked us back each time. Dunno.

But I'm one of the few who'd be more curious to see how we'd go with Gaff, Polec, Rohan than with Gaff, Polec, Hall.

From the few interactions I've had with Hall he strikes me as a loyal type. Probably wanted to give back to the club that drafted him.

But the reported conflict with him and the coaches may have gotten too much and outweighed the sense of loyalty.

I'm constantly amazed at how every other club's trade thread is filled with absurd speculation, baseless rumour mongering and ignorant dart throwing, whilst ours remains the haven of reasoned, factually based and logical debate, supported by eminently practical propositions. It's uncanny.

Another interesting element of every other team's trade board is you see people who last year were all "LOL, as Kelly's dad playing a few dozen games for Norf means anything in a contract situation" being all SHYLAN DIEL BARRACKED FOR BOMBERZ AS A KID HE'S OURS HE'S OURS!

Zero doubt about that. Gaff with the family pull etc would make a move to Sydney Tippett like in its head scratching from the Gaff camp.

I know we've had success with Waite, Williams and Higgins but just by bringing Rohan to North is not going to magically fix his inability to get his hands on the football. It isn't a gamelan thing, he has NEVER been able to find the footy and that includes all his junior footy. People get blinded by his pace.
