After seeing almost every team play, who do you guys like for the Trophy? Still sticking with your initial picks or seeing something that changes your mind?

Still early obviously and hard to go off one game. I'll stick my initial prediction. I will change that I'm liking the look of the Portuguese team. Ronaldo i s looking at racking up a decent amount of goals in the group alone. Would back them regardless who they meet in the round of 16. I'd fancy them more against Uruguay than the Russian's though. Home crowd and perhaps some momentum from the Russians is a big factor. If it were Uruguay expect a spiteful contest with a red card or two.

Don't think Portugal will hold up but Ronaldo will clearly be player of the tourny now that he's not injured in a WC. Brazil looked really good, they play like RM. I see them winning it

Belgium - didn’t click but ultimately won easy

Agree on Spain. They're the best I've witnessed thus far. De Gea destroyed Spain not once but twice. Poor positioning on that free kick at the end. If they survived with all three points I'd have them the clear favourites at this point in time. Still are for me, just not as clear cut. Looked sensational, like the Spain of old.

Yeah Bayern is basically 50% of Germany and Mueller was in poor form the last few years, Boateng and Neuer always injured, Hummels average and Kimmich good. Didn't think they'd do that well

I was so close to getting the final exactly right. I should've had more faith in Maguire (England's easy draw meant Vardy didn't get as much time... but hey, Maguire at least scored, and an English/former Leicester player got the Golden Boot?)

N'Didi did well for Nigeria, but Mbappe takes that easily.
