I’d push for....

Pick 1 and 2 from the Gold Coast for Brad Crouch, Huge Greenwood, Riley Knight and pick 21

Head to the draft with 1, 2 and 4 would be amazing.

Why do people bother posting this?

It's absolutely obvious that GCS are getting a priority so they can draft Rowell and Anderson. They might as well announce the whole transaction at the same time.

If we got Luko and 14 for Crouch and Greenwood, we've done well.

Isn't that just media talk $$$$'s wise especially in Brad's case and similarly Hughy, from what I've heard it's tenure not $$$$'s in their cases that's the sticking point. I think tenure is pretty high in Alex's wants too isn't it?

Not true at all. Elliot likely to leave Pies, a team contending for premierships because they can't pay him enough. Brandon Ellis will leave Richmond purely for dollars. Grundy either using us for contract leverage or genuinely interested in coming here, but again, because of dollars. Every half decent player is looking to cash in on the biggest contract possible these days when they get the chance.

O’Brien played 2 games in his 1st year on the list, and in just his 4th year produced his break out season.

Who knows, that's for end of 2021, but they won't be trading those two picks, Rowell and mate Anderson GC bound.

GC costing AFL coffers twice as much as budgeted for with no sign of improving so AFL has to do something significant and now to stop the bleeding at GC, the package they announce will be far more than just the number 1 PP.

If they do receive pick 1 as a priority, I suspect there'll be significant pressure from the AFL to be also trading in established talent, along with "ambassadorships" to help entice such players.
