Don’t think far superior. Sept/Oct even early Nov form doesn’t matter. Most recent form and what they’ve done since Tannehill was put in as starter.

Couldn't disagree more - good teams are good for the majority of the year - the getting hot at playoff time trope is one of the most overused in sports.

Not just playoff time though. Form in the second half of the season means far more than first half...surely?

Yes - the Cheifs have been the better team of the second half of the season too

Form doesn't matter at any point in the season. Form last week doesn't matter. Will they have a good game plan and be in the right mindset to win on Sunday? That's all that matters

The best team in the first month almost never wins. The best team in the last month almost never wins. Even the best team on championship weekend who is favourite in the Super Bowl only wins half the time at best in recent times.

It seems like the score would've been about 49-28 Chiefs if all the crucial bounces had've gone the other way in the game between these teams earlier this year.

Both teams clearly better now than they were then.

Chiefs have home field this time.

I sense if it's a one score game, whoever has the ball last will win. Titans need to be opportunistic throughout and win the first 2 drives of each half and they can win.

Will the Chiefs be willing to tackle Henry in -6 C temps?

This is the type of insane logic only LA could come up with.

Can't you read - FOR MOST OF THE YEAR!!!!!!

GIVEN THE CHIEFS PLAY IN A CREAM PUFF DIVISION!!!! IM UNSURE HOW YOU CAN MAKE SUCH AN ASSUMPTION!!!!! THE MOST IMPRESSIVE WIN ON THE CHIEFS RESUME WAS A WIN ON THE ROAD IN NE !!!!! THAT TENNESSEE MATCHED LAST WEEK!!!!

LOUD NOISES!!!

Surely the elephant in the room is if the Titans get behind early and have to abandon the run

den dey fked

Just like when they fell behind by two scores the last time they faced KC and won?

At least try and make some sort sense when you post rather than just rambling nonsense.

Based on this logic the Miami dolphins should have won the last 10 superbowls given how they pwn the Pats. #recencybias

I'm so torn.

On one hand I've been loving the Titans/Henry show. And the whole Chiefs crowd schtick is entirely racist.

On the other hand, I really like Mahomes and Kelce, and one of the worst people I've ever met was a Titans fan. (And I retain a deep appreciation of Andy Reid.)

I'm just hoping for an entertaining game, and for the winners to get beat by the 9ers in the SB.

It's true - they need to get in to the 20th century - they should be miming dealing blackjack cards like this

pretty amazing...unless tannehill gets injured before the end of the game, titans win, and mariota has to start the SB.

----

Patrick Mahomes went to Texas Tech. Ryan Tannehill went to Texas A&M. One will advance to Super Bowl LIV. No starting quarterback in Super Bowl history finished their college careers at a Texas university.

And one of them also will be the first Super Bowl QB to finish their career at a Big 12 school.

What if Mahomes gets injured before the end of the game, and the Chiefs win?
