This is the part I disagree with you, you think you knew without even negotiating, all this is in your head trying not to get reject by other club through assumption.
The part where I say "see what the hawks think" is the first act of negotiating.
I do agree with the principle that got to start the price high.

I don't think players want to go to PSD, but in adelaide out of contract players cases they got their point to do that after Gold Coast camp, Greenwood, Keath not getting much compare to Gibbs and Jenkins in their current contract. Sometimes destination club token of pick are much better but if players are force to go PSD, their current club look bad, and other players might be going to that path too.

"There's not really a time frame on a decision. I'm in no rush to sort of make a decision," King said.

"All I can say really is I'm loving living on the Gold Coast, I love all the boys and all the coaching staff as well. I feel like we've got a really strong culture at the club.

"I couldn't be happier with the Suns."

"It's pretty crazy. It feels like just yesterday I was at the draft getting picked up. So it has gone really quickly. It's been a great year, I'm really happy with it," King said.

"I haven't won a game yet, so that would have been nice. I guess that Essendon game where we came really close and I felt like I had an impact on the game in the last quarter, that was a pretty good feeling at the time. Obviously we just fell short but it was still pretty cool."

Don't know much about Fisher. Is he someone we'd want?
Yes. Fisher is a good player IMO. If we could get Martin for him we'd take that easily. He's a quick inside mid, left footer good skills. Not as well known because of other stars like SPS and Walsh running through there.

But I don't think it's true. Would be a huge get for our midfield.

I'm happy just to take fisher For Martin without any pick back if he do want to come . He definitely can play, like your description of him too.

Not really interested in Fisher. Too lightweight, probably an upgrade on Dawson / Heron, but I’d take their future first. Could easily see that being a top 7 pick in 2020. Surprised though that Carlton would offer it up.

FYI the 2020 draft is expected to be particularly weak. They can stick Fisher up their ass. He's ok but he's undersized and drifts out if the game. I'm not even sure he is better than Darcy.

Put their 2019 1st Rd pick as a starting point and they can get a little something back.

FYI Rowell and Anderson were playing in a NAB league final today for the Chargers and were well held a goal down and 3 QTR time kicking into a 4 goal breeze and they both had 13 and 10 touches respectively in the last QTR. Getting my hopes up for GF week GC concessions announcement.

Yeah I’ve heard the wraps on next years draft aren’t good but I’d be confident we can pick up something better than a flaky, overrated, underachieving, uncommitted, skinny, don’t know where to play him, overpaid, fumbly, injury-prone Jack Martin. Their 2019 first would be better still :)

What! have you watched him play?
Fisher is really good. Would be absolutely stoked if we got him.

That offer seems completely false to me. If we could get that - take it and run.

This is quite interesting. After Fishers name got thrown up by that random twitterer
Fisher seemed to have a role change toward the end of the year win Teague coming in. Maybe not valued as highly by the new regime.
Also when Carlton started winning..

Difference is, unfortunately for Gold Coast Ah Chee is out of contract. And Weller still had a year to go on his. Somehow, I don't think Brisbane will be coughing up pick 2.

There you go another BrisC supporting condescending smart arse to add to the list feeling entitled to come on our board and fire shots

Bods, not everyone who disagrees with you is an enemy. Contract status has been proven to be a factor in negotiations across several clubs. Pointing this out isn't firing shots.

If Lions promised Ah Chee that the deal will be done and Suns are aware of it then Suns has a leverage like Freo had. I for once would love a player to go to PSD.

I imagine that’s not the issue, it’s the unsolicited self entitlement and baiting choice of words in an oppositions forum.
