Complaining on the basis of your individual club copping it is all well and good.

For some reason the chorus was that Collingwood never do it and every other club cops it. That's simply not true.
Actually it is true. If you look at the past 23 years like I said.

If you look at 2019 in isolation, oh look another technicality, you're right.

But I'm not surprised you cant understand why it's not acceptable Collingwood never make the longest trip for Vic clubs twice in the Home and Away season while the rest of us get lumped with it regularly.
The longest trip from Melbourne is Jiangwan Stadium, and no club is doing it twice.

Longest domestic trip for Victorian clubs.

Lol at Pies fans bending over backwards to defend the advantage.

"We had to play finals there"
"We had to play pre season there"
"If you only look at 1 season only 3 sides do it"
"China trip is longer"

You get gifted an advantage by the AFL. Noones saying it's your fault, I simply pointed it out. If I was you guys I'd be embracing it not trying to pretend it doesnt exist.

Richmond always seem to have two trips to Adelaide.
We must request it for some reason.

The fixture is a commercial beast.

The AFL uses Collingwood to push into the development markets of QLD and NSW, we always play Sydney in Sydney and play the Giants, Lions and Suns more often than we do the WA and SA teams...as the AFL wants to hype up games in NSW and QLD.

Would much rather travel to Freo than cop Sydney in Sydney every year.

Every other club has done the double previously. When's Collingwood doing it?
Collingwood has contractual obligations to play 17 games in Melbourne (14 MCG, 3 Marvel).
That leaves 5 interstate trips. One to each of WA, SA, NSW, QLD, and one double up game. The AFL's preference is for that double up game to be in either NSW or QLD in order to promote the game in the northern states.

And I fully appreciate this.

I just think you should go to Perth twice more then once in the history.

Who cares how far the trip is?

Why is playing Freo in Perth a harder trip than Sydney at the SCG or Giants at Spotless?

Pies have double ups against Eagles, Richmond, Melbourne, Essendon and Dogs...would much rather cop two trips to WA to get Freo twice instead of Richmond!

Fixture difficulty (Champion Data - based on double-ups)

When we lift the trophy in September, there can be no doubt about the legitimacy of the title

Why not replace Dogs with Freo?

Got lucky vs Richmond (worst Richmond played in 2 years) and were expected to beat GWS. Gifted a top 4 spot based on draw
This confuses me. We beat the teams we were supposed to beat. You play who you're listed to play and beat them, then you're good enough.

It's incredible that a fan of a premiership-winning club can be so bitter about the team they actually defeated in the Grand Final. You'd think the trophy would take the chip off the shoulder.

Who did this, lol? Why are North in light red, like Hawthorn? Actually, for that matter, why in the hell are Collingwood in light red? This seems awfully biased.
