Get well and truly fked Robbo. If Whitfield is stupid enough to cross the white line after that surgery, then he's fair game like any other player. Spare me.Ffs. I pick up the paper this morning and there’s that fat guts moron Slobbo Robbo going on about how we “can’t cross the line” if Whitfield plays. (He also inferred on tv last night AGAIN it would be a choke if we lost on Saturday. FFS you ahole it’s been a great effort to get there with all our injuries.)
Meanwhile, theres a separate article on Jack Graham maybe playing with a dislocated shoulder but there’s of course no “crossing the line reference” to GWS.
And incidentally, where’s the howls of media derision for Clangerfields blatant dive on Friday night ? Grimes and Rance must have copped it for at least a week.
Cmon Richmond. *** I want to stick it up all these salty media aholes, all the bleating whinging opposition fans, and the biased AFL.
SEN discussing strategies on how to beat us on a regular basis.
I love all the white noise we are putting out right now about who will or won't play on Saturday. The medical update on Broad and Fridge told us nothing, and that's what everyone outside the Club already knew. I'm sure we'll be messing with GWS heads all the way to the first bounce.
Also thinking about the named emergencies, I'm tending to the view that neither KMac nor Ross will play. If Broad passes the concussion tests, he's automatically in. Ross, aka Esky - the mini Fridge, is the closest in build and playing style to Jack G. He would have been a certainty except for the VFL Grand Final when Pickett's best on ground performance completely shook up the mix. Ross has good form from previous AFL performances but Pickett has the runs on the board now. He can also tackle, pin point passes and kick goals. The only negative is whether he can play to the Richmond game patterns and, if he can. I'd have him as Graham's replacement immediately.
Before the GWS v Pies match, I wanted the Pies to win, mainly because I didn't want to see De Boer on the ground. I've now changed my mind and am happy Collingwood is out. The possibility of DeGoey returning, Grundy dominating the bounces plus Moore and Howe negating out two big forwards would have been unsettling. Whatever, I'm looking for a great GF with a Tigers win of between 3 and 7 goals.
The AFL loading up for GWS
Let them play all the injured/unfit players they like. This is not your standard game and I know we will be taking no chances. If graham is not 100% he won’t play imo. We’ve shown all year it’s about the process not necessarily who we put out on the park. He’s definitely foxing, no way he’ll be fit to play on Lynch, I think he’s the type of guy that will say anything to play.
Well we know what happened last time Lloyd said one of our KPF’s wasn’t playing their role. The Count's kiss of death on Jack Riewoldt this week. Jack doesn't have the ping to get off his man and is not playing his role.

As per the previous two finals I'm quite calm heading into this game. Last week proved again that we can adapt and overcome adversity, and I'm of the opinion that the Giants fired their last shot on Saturday.
In b4 Broad is named and the rags bust out some dribble about it being irresponsible to name him because of concussion blah blah blah

He is the AFL attack dog. Make no mistake he represents a 2-3 goal advantage to the Giants. This is BS if so. Razor has been absolutely horrible this finals series. So much ME ME ME!
Meanwhile Whitfield comes back in a week from surgery and we can't touch him cos spirit of the game blah blah blah.In b4 Broad is named and the rags bust out some dribble about it being irresponsible to name him because of concussion blah blah blah

I hope for Whitfield’s sake they don’t play him.Haven't read every page so not sure if it's been posted yet, but did anyone else see the footage of Whitfield at Giants training yesterday? The guy could only slow walk a lap around the ground. Looked sore AF.
My housemate is a Nurse and reckons it would just be irresponsible for any medical person to sign him off to play. It's a very quick turn around, but each persons healing is different.
From what I saw yesterday, it would be a big bloody turn around to go from barely walking a lap, to the crash and bash of a bloody GF. He might take one knock in the first 5 mins and be gone from the game. (Not a bad outcome for us if they do play him!)

All our injuries throughout the season means it should be awarded to ever player who played during the season as without them we wouldn’t be where we are now.KMac and Ross may not get to play in the Grand Final if we go in unchanged. That will mean they potentially miss out on playing in any premiership.
This is a reason why the AFL should award premiership medals to the emergencies for the Granny. This already happens in Champions League Final where the unused subs get medals.
Geez, where have you been ? He's the Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis impersonator! Hilarious. Was going to make a comment about one of our players singing a song with the post-game band but had to look up who was playing.
Dean Lewis? Never heard of him.
Tiges by 5 and to be “gifted the game” by the umps after losing the free kick count 22-5.
