With Beams back it makes it difficult to safely pick a pies mid as with seen with last year having GAJ back dropped cats mids averages.

Danger spent ALOT more time forward which was the reason for his drop and his dual mid/fwd status.
Duncan dropped from 109 to 106
Menegola maintained his average of 100
Selwood increase his average from 102 to 105
Tim Kelly averaged a solid 93 in his first season

I don't think Ablett had much impact at all to be honest.

Looks like I'm starting three rookies in the mids, with Walsh a lock an no other rookie really locked in there.

Bailey Smith to get good midfield time when he plays seniors?
I've got him on 'watch' simply because of his interrupted pre-season. Everyone is super impressed with him but he may be a slow starter and he's one of the expensive mids.

If he bursts out of the blocks going 120+ for 7 rounds it probably means he's breaking tags.Tags are the main reason for his yo-yo scoring. So you'd be mad to sell him.

Have a look at his 2017 scoring. His scores aren't split into `tagged` and `not tagged`. This is why come round 7 or 8 a bunch of people will trade in players clearly averaging 10 to 20 points above a season average.

Is macrae at 689k to expensive to start is he maxed out at that price
Personally I believe he’s maxed at that price. Libba, Dunkley et al are up and about so may have somewhat of a dip to sub 600k. But you wouldn’t be laughed at if you staarted him. Well maybe not, some real campaigners on here
