Is that a level closer to heart failure? Because that is my main fear in picking him.

Has he been given the ok health wise? Please forgive me if I’m wrong, but I thought him passing out on field was related to a heart issue.
He has been given the all clear

Team going all-in on the big boys. Don't know if you can justify starting all of Laird, Mitchell, Macrae, Cripps, Fyfe, Grundy, Gawn, Danger but it would be nice not to have to worry about trying to get them in throughout the year, and the rest of the team doesn't look that bad imo.

I don't mind this team, it is very similar to what I am trying to put together. Think if I went down this path I would take B Crouch (if named Rd 1) and downgrade Greene for a rookie. Just not convinced on starting Toby, although I can understand the upside.

Pending rookies in the forwards, I'm putting together a similar lineup but with Greene to a Rookie and Libba to a premo. Only leaves me $3,300 left though, but I do have a couple of high priced rookies and I'm hoping that I won't have to take both of Rankine & Smith, hopefully!

I don't see anything wrong with it personally ......it's just juggling the $$$ to maximize your cash & point generation ......I like the side, but like all sides it'll change with the Rookie selections

Last year, most of the available Rookies were Mids & Fwd's ......so for me, will i load up at F4 or D4 ?

The only question I have is generally around "risk" players .......is having two risky players at D2 & D3 a good idea .....myself I'd prefer two solid / dependable players at D1 & D2 , with either Williams or Blakely at D3

RIP the emotes :(. At least we still have :moustache:
Ngl, i preferred the old theme, was much easier to read, navigate and distinguish what was what.
And we have no laughing Emoji now .....where will all the fun be, if we can't laugh

I really like this team.
All those players mentioned will be top 10 or close to it so theyre pretty safe to lock in right from the start.
Historically we expect a lot of these guys to drop in output.

If Mitchell Macrae Grundy Gawn Lloyd all drop youll lose ground to teams that get them on the cheap

I preferred the old theme but I love this part of the new theme: :devil::devil::devil::devil::devil::devil::devil:

Keen to get peoples thoughts on the Big Ol' Buddy Franklin, started last year like a house on fire, very injury prone though. I haven't seen him in a single team as of yet could be an interesting POD?
Also starts next season as a 32 yo ......IMHO we've seen Buddy's best and we'll see a gradual; slide from here

Had his best season, ave wise , in 2018 ......but that average was inflated by 3 x huge scores of 175, 178, 161 .....but intersperced with that was 48, 60, 60, 61, 52 .....that's a real roller-coaster ride

This is my current team. V1.5

Laird out for Blakely. Laird will be my first upgrade target. Pretty confident that he won't be able to maintain his starting price. Free'd up cash to bring Mitchell in.

Sloane out for Mitchell.

Rookies changed from previous versions.

Thoughts / Opinions

Have you considered using the funds from Collins & Williamson to get Roberton as your D4 ?

I am considering Roberton however he burnt me in 2018. I'll need to find $100k to get him in though.
IMO 3 x Premium Rookies in DEF is too many .....Rozee, Williamson, and Collins .......convert Rozee to a $117K Rookie, and either upgrade Collins or Williamson ....then a rough calculation is you need to find approx $14K from somewhere

This is very true. TBO I did not realise I had done this. May move Rozee FWD upgrade Williamson/Collins to Roberton but I don't think I'll have the cash.
