Lol, who cares that the Vics aren't getting a silver platter?Disappointing that the first Vic team exclusive GF since 2011 is going to be played at the ******* Gabba. I reckon most neutral supporters would've wanted a Port and Brissy GF for good reason. It's going to be so awkward to watch.
I just think it sucks that for once in a blue moon we have a Grand Final outside of Victoria and the two teams competing are barely going to have any true supporters at the game because of the majority getting stuck in Victoria. If we played Brisbane in a Grand Final at the Gabba sure it would suck that Brissy have the advantage but at least actual members can travel safely to get to the game for both sides. I'm pretty sure I heard from an indirect source that Richmond only have like 3 or 4 thousand members up in Queensland, so I guess the rest of the fans for both teams would need to be SA or WA based, or maybe even NSW baed too after the events of the last month. I still doubt that's going to make up the capacity, so get ready for lots of neutral supporters and corporate attendances, yay...Lol, who cares that the Vics aren't getting a silver platter?
Port v. Brisbane would have been good, but not the best possible final. Brisbane via Fitzroy and Sydney via South Melbourne still have Vic links. Given this to my eyes there hasn't been a 100% pure non-Victorian GF as of yet. That's one of my milestones for the competition having shed itself of being an upsized VFL. Both for the game itself and that in order to occur we've had some progress on the Vic's not being able to rig everything in their favour.
Stevic gets his reward

nah, I'm going for Richmond by 120 pleaseBest case scenario is Richmond by a small margin after a series of bizarre umpiring decisions, leaving clangerfield, duckywood and niblett on the ground in tears.
There will be a lot of neutral supporters but probably true football followers at least instead of bandwagon supporters. I’ve lived in Brisbane for years and was shattered we didn’t make it, but I managed to get a couple of tickets today to the grand final. I believe there was 10k tickets for the public for sale today that were snapped up in 20 minutes. They are saying it’s sold out at 30k capacity.I just think it sucks that for once in a blue moon we have a Grand Final outside of Victoria and the two teams competing are barely going to have any true supporters at the game because of the majority getting stuck in Victoria. After further reflection I have decided that I would hate Richmond winning slightly less than Geelong winning. That's the best I can do.I really don't care who wins. I dislike both sides and their coaches. I have no interest in the build-up or who's saying what. I won't be watching, usually as a neutral I still end up barracking for one side or another but I cannot think of a single circumstance where I would barrack for either of these teams.
If the Vic media mention fairytale and Geelong in that same breath one more time I will vomit.
ALWAYS PB's! It is going to be a more mixed crowd than normal anyway.Just got our tickets. Section 39 lower tier. Should I wear the PB's or just be an anonymous neutral happy clapping theatre goer?
