Of course it’s going to be wet and slippery. Would have suited us perfectly against Geelong.

Yeah, maybe it is the 'shoulda been us' syndrome kicking in but care factor is zilch. I will not even watch it.

If it was a day GF I would go to the pub have a beer and a casual look but I am not going to the pub and hang around 'til near midnight just to watch two Victorian teams fight it out. If there was a non Victorian team involved I would be tempted to take a look just to see if the Vics get beaten.

That said, I am a gloriously inconsistent individual at times because tomorrow night I will be watching the NRL Grand Final. The difference is I know a couple of Penrith supporters and it is NSW v the Vics. Those two factors give the game an extra bit of spice.

I know we all wish we should have been there today. Just wondering how banged up we would have been. Tigers and Cats are basically full strength today. We would have had Burton and Ebo out for starters. There was doubt over a couple of others too I think.

Well I managed to get a couple of tickets to today’s game, so now I’m off to the Gabba precinct to get a feed and a few beers, soak up the atmosphere and hopefully watch a good game. Happy to be part of history.
