Taken from the Essendon board, thanks guys!

Some Bits from Cal Today

  • Best Key Forwards in order JUH, McDonald, Thrillthorpe, Cox (Essendon are interested), Matthew Allison
  • Crows working on McDonald/Hollands/Thrillthorpe
  • Collingwood keen to bundle 14 16 and future 1st
  • Gold Coast wanted to move up from 5 to 2, North Rejected the swap
  • Essendon linked to Cox, Interested in Archie Perkins and so is Hawthorn would be a surprise if he went at 4
  • Unlikely for Essendon to trade up
  • DGB the one least likely to fall out of the top 5
  • Nathan O'Driscoll likely 15-25 range a bargain after 25
  • First 5, Next 7, then Next 10 in groups of talents
I'll also add:
  • Hollands unlikely to slide. If he doesn't go Pick 1 (or 2 if we bid on JUH) it sounds like he'll get picked up by North, Syd or Hawks, who've apparently have a fair bit of interest in him.
  • Crows are still open to trading Pick 1 if the 'right deal' is on the table.
  • Brayden Cook likely to be a draft bolter
Crows working on McDonald/Hollands*

fixed it for cal. :p

I think we leave it to the experts Hamish and his team who have mountains of intel we'll never have or see.
He’s done a good job overall in totality but I reckon Hamish is on notice this draft

he’s failed to pick a good midfielder other than Shoenberg despite multiple chances and now he has at least 3 shots at it with 9,22 and 23 as a minimum

he prob also needs to be able to find a kid that is just as comfortable playing forward which he hasn’t really done

Big draft for Hamish

I saw Gray delisted by Sydney with a year to go on contract. Is there any we can delist in similar circumstances to get additional picks or pick up an experienced delisted player. Davis or Seedsman?

So if true Hamish trying to get two of the three, most likely prefer McDonald, but if means get Hollands and tilthorpe, trying find way get it done.

obviously not much between LM and RT

That's going to be his nickname if we get him...

But it is ridiculous to suggest someone who is only taking 1 pick in a draft will lower said pick

Depends on who they want. If they were after say Heath Chapman and he is likely to go from 9-12 then trade down and pick up a first or second rounder next year. Not the worst idea. I am not convinced they will want Thilthorpe so there may be an opportunity. DGB or Phillips on the other hand I think they take without question

Wouldn't think so ....actually trading back from #31 to R3 pick, but getting the 2021 3rd Round pick ....clubs trying to get into the 2021 Draft
With their 20% discount for their Academy player they still get him for about the same value?
